Agreed...I owned both the Sinister Cinema dvd-r (taken from a 16mm print) and the SWV dvd-r (taken from a 35mm print), and the blu for ENTER THE DEVIL is an incredible improvement.

Are these the guys who are releasing Fiend? My Amazon preorder went from December 18 to dates between Mid-January to early February. I don't follow these small startup labels much so these "out of nowhere" delays are always annoying but it is what it is.

I ordered directly from Massacre Video and my copy of FIEND arrived today. I must have been one of the first 100 to order as I got the patch as well.

So, I got "Fiend" on blu ray today from the Black Friday sale that Massacre Video had. I have not dug into the extras yet, but I'm really excited about checking them out. I would like to comment only on the transfer. The details and grain are very nice indeed and this is certainly the best "Fiend" has ever looked. However, I would like to make a constructive criticism. The black levels on the movie look elevated and a bit on the dull side. As a result, the colors don't pop like they should. This could boil down to its low budget origins, but I honestly don't know.

Pre-ordered FIEND from Amazon when it first went up, and despite it getting pushed to 1/15, my order is due to arrive on Friday! I locked in the $18 pre-order price too

Yeah, it does seem like it needed to be a bit darker. Also, multiple scenes are supposed to be day for night, but the blu ray just looks like normal daytime.
