Congrats on getting it early. When did you pre-order? Might have to see if they sell those RED Cases @ Amazon in Bulk. I have a few blu-rays now with red cases of course the negative to going bulk might diminish the few I have popping out & being easy to find.

Just personal curiosity (feel free to tell me to pound sand), what made you buy the 3D version? (same price as 2D? =OR= have a 3D collection/TV?) & didn't wanna chance that Family Video would have any left at a good price?
Did you choose this over the Steelbooks or was this what was available when you placed your order?
BTW, if my memory is working correctly (don't know why I didn't take any pictures like I normally do of all their movies but...) the Red cases at Family Video for Avenger: A.O.U. weren't this transparent RED they were opaque R3D almost dull IIRC. Maybe that's what makes this collectible.

I pre-ordered (2) of these. Going to see what I see at Wally-world tonight & hopefully BB early tomorrow (though they don't open until 9AM for me).

Awesome!!!! My copy will be here tomorrow from amazon I cant WAIT to watch this weekend! I think this is my First 3D red case now for my collection.

Just a heads up for anyone on the West Coast wanting the Best Buy Steelbook. The website has been saying sold out for quite some time but I thought I'd make a last minute check this morning which is around 8AM in San Diego. They suddenly had store pickup available and I just got done ordering the Vision Steelbook for pickup today! So check the website one more time to see if it's available for you!

Gotta beat those scalpers!!!

Would seem to me that is one of the ways that they can avoid price matches is by having ever so slightly different products.

I just priced matched the Amazon price ($19.88) at Target. There is a sticker over the actual UPC with the UPC for the Target exclusive, it is:

Anybody have any images of the inside of Steelbook? Preordered Ultron for in store p/u. Won't be able to get to store for a few hours....dying to know what's inside...may make the difference in picking up Vision in addition when I'm there...still having problems wrapping my head around why I'd need both...but it's sooooo hard to pick one over the other....

I don't have a pic bit the inside is all the main characters in their little "frames" similar to the standard 3D cover, just with the addition of other characters. Not the best interior art by any means.

Edit: and as I'm posting I get beaten with a picture lol. There are more characters on the right side so they had to squeeze them in and the two sides don't line up. Oh well, the outside of the steelbook is awesome lol.

Thank you sooo much. It's actually not half bad....certainly better than the 007 reissues! At least I'm not giving up any images by passing on the regular 3d release....just the red disc...which is cool, but not the end all be all. Each to his own I guess. ...By the way....why the heck on the day of release, is it on Ebay???....aftermarket jackup much?.....annoying....

I like your idea of going to Walmart. Our Walmart store recently removed their entire 3D section so I wasn't hopeful for the 3D movie. Guys, I went to Walmart this morning and the 3D Collectors Edition (CE) was still at the retail price but the BD disc only and DVD was price reduced. I asked the clerk to check the web price of the 3DCE as it shows it also is reduced to $19.89! She made a call and sold it for the reduced web price

Normally I don't buy steelbooks... but at $20.00 I got the Ultron one... I thought if I'm going to get it at the same price why not? I was at the BB at 10 am sharp and people were buying both and 1 lady bought both and the DVD...she says they don't have the DVD and I need that 1 also... before I left I checked like 10 minutes later and BOOM the 3D's were all GONE!!!!!

Just got back from my Best Buy in New Jersey....They had absolutely NO steelbooks in sight! The display stand had copies of all other releases but no Steelbooks. I asked a store rep if they had anymore and he said he thought they might have a copuple in the back...a few minutes later he came out with 1...the LAST 1. Held my breath as he handed it to me...Vision!!! Yessss!!!!I preordered the Ultron Steel with a $5 rewards coupon for in store p/u. So, I got lucky...real lucky.

Anybody else want to share what their store's have left as of late afternoon?

BTW...intend to keep The Vision one sealed until the dust settles...I AM interested to see if it is the more collectable one of the set.

Off to watch it now...65' LG 3D here I come!!!!
