I did see some artwork elsewhere that looked way better than both though.

Well, 91% of critics gave it a thumbs up, but, that's just like a "yes" or "no", a "like" or "not".
How MUCH did they like it?
I prefer a weighted score.
So I see at metacritic it averaged a 78 out of 100 on a scale of one to 100. That's really good

It is a really great looking steelbook. I've recently gotten into collecting all of Mondo's releases. So far I've gotten all the ones they have released except for Dredd and I've gotten all five of their announced titles pre ordered and ready to get to me around the end of the month.

Yeah. Fork has a group buy going here. Comes to about $34 shipped to get it from him. Doubt this will be any cheaper on eBay so it's a good trustworthy route to go if you want to score a copy.

78 on meta is good, but I looked up a bunch of other movies I like and they're all in the 70s on meta...including Interstellar which has an 82.

...and that one really seems to divide people.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes has a 79.

The Mondo steel itself is horrible. Front looks like a Bjork album cover. The UK/DE steel is very, very nice though. Glossy, spot metal, white, embossed, and debossed. Sinthetic took excellent photos:

Don't go in expecting a sci-fi action extravaganza and you'll do a lot better. It's a low key, slow boil psychological drama.
