Just purchased this and Halloween III (Universal release) from Bestbuy.com....both were $19 shipped.

can any of you guys tell me if this is a region free title, i was looking forward to seeing this , it's the only one i'm missing from the collection.

I picked this up today at my local FYE for $9.99. They had 3 copies. They also had Friday the 13th VII and VIII double feature and Freddy vs Jason/Friday the 13th 2009 for $14.99 for the Friday fans. No copies of Parts I-VI to be found though.

Ha thats Funny i just picked mine up at Walmart in Cave Creek AZ. Its 7.88 there. And they have the Friday the 13th double features as well on dvd only.

Definitely a much better picture over the theatrical version that was released by Echo Bridge & then re-released by Lionsgate. Hopefully the theatrical version will be re-released on an updated bluray by itself.

I got this today at my local Wal-Mart for only $7.88.

I was shocked! They had several copies. It was with a bunch of scary/Halloween films. Didn't see the Friday the 13th films, but they had them on DVD.
