Mine came today. Spine slashed. Seems like very tiny paint chips along the top edge of the spine too. Otherwise in good shape. What to do, what to do...

Got mine today. Perfect condition and I love the artwork. Best Buy auto adjusted the price to $17.99 for me. Still waiting on my $5 in Best Buy rewards to come in.

Does this have a different UPC barcode from the standard release? Can't go tomorrow and I'm worried my in store pickup order will be the regular release..

The SKU's are different so in theory they UPC's shouldn't be the same.
Again this is retail we are talking about so it all boils down to the person that is picking orders and how much they care.

I had no intentions of ordering this, but the $17.99 price plus the $5 rewards certificate I got in my inbox this morning made it a pretty sweet deal. I hope it ships soon.

I have never had it personally happen to me, but as I understand it if you RETURN it they will charge you, not for a price adjustment.

When you return it it's like you got CN code for free so they charge you. An adjustment doe not return the item.

So if you get a dinged steel or one with a slash try and get a replacement not a return/rebuy.

Okay, thanks for the heads up. I was considering not even picking this up. Guessing they'll definitely charge for the CN copy. I went with the FA Copy after I pre-ordered this. Not like I haven't had 2 copies of a movie before, LOL

I'm waiting on the back and interior artwork of the German Amazon exclusive before opening my Best Buy copy. With this info, I'll put it on eBay rather than returning it should I decide to get the German one.

I mean for those of us who got it a few weeks ago with the $5 cert promo getting its a no brainer.

For us:
17.99 (after they adjust)
-5 cert
+ CN (I Sold this for $5)

$7.99
Not to mention I may end up selling or trading the UV code inside away

Ergo for me $2.99 for a steelbook is a real steal!

I happened to get this for free! I preordered the new Maze Runner steelbook and it came yesterday in a box. I thought that was weird...so I open it up and the new Mission Impossible steelbook was in there! I checked the card I used to pay for Maze Runner and I was never charged!

I was supisingly the first to grab a steelbook at my bestbuy. I actually didn't see anyone else grab one at opening which was weird. There were at least 50 copies so people shouldn't have a problem grabbing one.

Best Buy isn't embossed, like the European steelbooks it seems.

Which also comes with a Bonus Blu-ray disc instead of the DVD bonus disc from Target.

So many of these had spine slashes, but plenty were in stock. Highly recommend those thinking of getting one go to store ASAP and pick out the best one. Mine came with 2 digital copy code slips!!! Never had this happen with a steelbook before lol. Anyone else get more than 1 digital copy code slip?

Target's exclusive is what has the bonus Blu-ray.
