well i just watched the spanish version, and i loved it. definitely top shelf franco. this really really really needs a blu-ray release with all the different versions included.

xcellent review there sam it has been strange yet that this one has no official release seems as though back in 2009 there was talk of severin releasing dvd
you might since you have connections to blue underground may need to start up a fund raiser for them to release all three versions plus soundtrack please

Seeing that some or the Mondo Macabro and Severin Franco DVDs are part of the Grindhouse sale going on right now I was wondering if anyone who knows about this stuff think it's a good idea to grab those or if there is any chance that OOP Blu rays like

Lorna The Exorcist,
Sinner The Secret Diary, or
Macumba Sexual

will get a new Blu Ray release any time soon or if it would be better to grab/settle for the DVD versions.

easy answer is yes buy macumba sexual thats been out of print for a while
lorna and sinner have bluray releases yet may be hard to come by so you will need to buy those also

I think Attack of the Robots is the third film in chronological order, for example.

haha. i watched bahia blanca a few nights ago. wasn't really into at first, played mostly like a spanish soap opera, but ended up liking it by the end. pretty tame for franco, but interesting characters and story. lovely photography as well

I though Bahia Blanca was one of the better Franco's I have seen. Waiting to watch the other but from what I sampled it seems a little more explicit then your typical Franco + coupled with the 11 min of NSFW outtakes

As someone who has never seen Shining Sex, I would be interested to get some thoughts on the film and the Severin release for those that have received and watched it.
