MAA TV played the first movie for like 5 hrs with like 1 minute ad for every 1 minute of movie! Don't be surprised if they run The Conclusion for an entire day :P

Still, this is an edited down version.

It cuts away instead of showing Balaldev's father cutting Devsena's Cousin with the sword
Balaldev's chariot isn't shown plowing through rows of people on the battlefield. It just cuts away to it shooting arrows instead of the spinning blades making rows of people launch into the air before.

Interestingly the Tamil version i got on itunes still contains these scenes.... and they were in the theater version of the Telugu.... Why is it so difficult to give us the EXACT version I saw in theaters How many different cuts are there? I also remember the blood squirting in Balaldev's eye along with the music cue when he's cutting up the body (originally) also.
The intermission part is removed also, which is now missing in every version.

But I can download this and just edit it with the uncut scenes...and horray! Finally a perfect version!!

Guys the YouTube version of Baahubali 2 (Telugu) has 5.1 Audio! Its true surround not up mixed! I know you may say YouTube doesn't support surround audio but I downloaded it using Youtube-dl and the audio track is 5.1 and it sounds fantastic!

It's a yes... but situation. There is indeed a 5.1 audio option here in addition to the usual 2 channel tracks, which I've never seen on YouTube before. Opening the 5.1 audio track in Audacity confirmed it.

But, it seems they screwed it up kinda badly. First they apparently mixed up the bitrate settings for the 2 channel and 5.1 channel tracks, because the 2 channel is a very generous 384kbps and the 5.1 is a mere 192kbps, extremely low for that many channels.

EDIT: OK that red stuff's wrong and I'm not sure how I made that error. I could delete this but that's the coward's road. There's a high bitrate AAC and low bitrate HE-AAC version of the 5.1 audio. The stuff that's below seems accurate.

They seem to have both mapped some of the channels to the wrong speakers and boosted the audio levels into distortion... except the rear left channel which is at a much lower and more sensible level that all the channels should have been at to begin with. That channel's distortion free. This wacky mix has centered dialog but otherwise tends to favor the right side. It's this mix that the 2-channel mix seems to have been created from so all the audio tracks are affected. I thought it was a problem with my headphones at first.

That's Weird. The one I downloaded from YouTube has about the same size(15.4) but 5.1.

Are you specifying any options when downloading using youtube-dl (I'm assuming you are using this tool)? I used the latest version of youtube-dl and without specifying and additional quality options, it saved the 5.1 audio along with 4K video.

The detail is pretty unbelievable. The popping richness is like watching the film anew.

Anybody else notice the missing scenes though? I’ll post screencaps later if no one else does. For some reason iTunes Player doesn’t let you screen cap. But they definetly cut Balaldev’s chariot run for some odd reason. I don’t think I can edit it back in and keep the 4K quality though sad

^ MKV download is 19GB while MP4 is 15GB. Using YouTube-DLG I was able to get it with 6 tracks.

Here's one of the scenes cut out of the YouTube release.









They must have released the TV edit for free, not the Theatrical Cut.
So far missing is:
Balaldev running the chariot through the crowd of people
Bijjaladeva slashing Kumara
Title Card (although that's gone in all the releases, even the iTunes versions)

Like a minute or two shorter runtime.
Sucks to have such a gorgeous scene gone, even if it is just under 10 seconds long. It's key showing him immediately slice through rows of his own men to get to Devsena, plus showing off the damage the chariot can do. Just the arrows shooting out isn't as impressive.
