Default Has anyone found the May 20 Paramount releases?

i am from England, and i just managed to buy disturbia on blu ray and get it imported from the U.S than it would be to go to the Cinema, which is a good thing because it is a paramount film which means the greedy b*****ds will not be getting mine or my fiances money at the box office, unfortunatly they did get it on blu ray but it will show that blu ray is the superior format.

I just purchased Disturbia on Blu Ray. I remember seeing it on Blu at CC when it first came out. I wish I would have picked it up then. As far as Blades...some people say it doesn't exist. Maybe they did the same thing with the Blades BD as Atari did with all their games back in the day.(Went to New Mexico and buried them)

I've seen Disturbia at my local Best Buy. That was a few weeks ago and they only had 2 copies.

Disturbia is easy to find from when it was first released a while back but Paramount did not ship any blus recently and prob wont for a while yet.

You can get Next from the UK its region free but I dont think Blades was ever really found.

I bought Disturbia a few months back at BB. Paramount titles are still on the shelves at many retailers.

By the time they all disappear Paramount will start making blu's again.

Yup, agreed. Got Disturbia from an Amazon BOGO shortly after it was released, along with Dreamgirls, Tomb Raider, and a few other Paramounts.

Blades of Glory was set to release a few days after Paramount went HD-DVD exclusive. They advised retailers to return any shipped quantities, but some made it out onto the shelves anyhow--hence, copies of Blades of Glory (Blu-ray) selling on eBay for $50-100 shortly after that announcement.

There were rumors that Paramount destroyed them all, but I'd bet dimes to donuts they are simply stashed in a warehouse awaiting their return to Blu.

This is a bit off topic, but I remember people talking about Transformers coming out in UK (or somewhere else) and being region free. Has anyone heard anything else about this?

While they are similarities between the two, they are two completely different movies.

As far as availability, I've always seen copies of Disturbia at my work (Best Buy).

The cartoon movie came out in the UK, but the live action one did not come out anywhere and it is not likely to any time soon.

Not so sure. I've seen numerous copies at two different best buy's in my area. Seem like to many copies to be just left over.

I've also seen it at my local BB. I should have got it when I was there, maybe today? I could use the $5 coupon.
