Why would it be cancelled? Makes no sense. Maybe just delayed and that's it.

That seems like such a basic logical explanation and I don't get how more discs aren't delayed either (unless the batches were done before). I imagine it's not easy to maintain the required distance between people in there either.

The longer this continues then the more discs will be affected, but as stuff is usually replicated 1-2 months ahead of time then enough product had been made for stuff coming out in April or May before the shutdown took effect. And when it comes to UHD specifikly then studios like Warners and Sony don't press them in untold amounts anyway, they're much more cautious with their print runs. But for stuff that's due in June and beyond, i.e. gear that would usually start to be replicated now, it wouldn't surprise me if we started getting more delays and postponements.

What I'm getting at is only WB is doing it. I'll wait and see if Sony postpones their UHD Classics set or if Universal postpones Jaws.

They've already been pressed, most likely.

ah darn, but why on Earth cancel them?
why cancel out everyone's orders?
just move the release date later?
sure as heck hope they are not pulling Goonies for good seems weird, in the past if something delayed a title, they never cancelled it, just changed shipping date even to undertermined but still kept orders and everything around. Will be totally disgusted with WB if they just decide to permanently forget about physical release for it in 4k. Has to be one of the more requested catalog titles.
