Has anyone else had issues installing the game from disc? Data disc won't get past 27.36 gb, very disappointing. I'd gotten the deluxe physical version, and will probably have to return it and go digital. So much for championing physical, I'm now feeling apprehensive about going physical for future big releases.

There is a known error that the Asian discs have been swapped and mislabeled so its possible there are issues with other regions discs.

Thanks, I saw they had that issue too. The UK data and play discs are labelled correct. It's just the data disc is janked ... annoying.

performance mode is a solid 60 but pretty blurry at times. i cant do quality mode, the camera movement makes me sick lol.

would have got this on pc if it came out at the same time. would have run it way better than ps5.

i made it to the overworld last night and oh god, i couldn't take the blurriness. this is maybe the only game where i forego a performance mode for a graphics mode. the framerate difference is only jarring right when you switch over.. but i'm used to it now.
pretty pathetic that the ps5 can't do 60fps for this game without looking like a blurry mess.

otherwise, i'm enjoying it.

I'm installing off the disc but it seems like it's just downloading the entire game instead. I have a download for 150GB and an update for over 11GB currently.

Shouldn't be, you might want to recheck. If it says "copying" on the main screen then that's not downloading.

Even after finishing the main game, you can’t explore as any other party member in chapter select.

I'm about 13 hours in. Pacing myself as usual, letting it all sink in. And I'll continue to say that these Remakes are one of the best looking games out there, it's kind of insane. I'm really loving it so far.

First 5 min of rebirth and I'm already so confused.

I assume I am watching two different timelines when associating this and the ending of Remake?

I understand Zack survived the "encounter" in this new story, but now him surviving that happened at the same time as the events of remake?

I'm lost.

Seems that way. You hear the Shinra news report in both Zack’s and Cloud’s story so seems to imply that everything’s happening concurrently.
