I think its lame for a MoM teaser to be in the credits lol they could've just done a mid-credits, and post credits and THEN world premiere of the trailer attached;. Just because I know there is so much content to shove in there

[Show spoiler]Aunt May.
Is it permanent or reversed by the end? Is Spider-Man trapped in another dimension by the end of the movie or is "No Way Home" a complete contradiction of the movie?

I haven't read into everything, but supposedly the spell is completed and everyone forgets Peter, then he goes to live as a loner with a homemade suit.

I am thinking that is
[Show spoiler]the 'evil' Dr. Strange from the What-If Series, as seen in the train scene. He has on the dark outfit with no cape, excuse me, cloak!

(NOTE: I have not read any of this discussion, so pardon me if already mentioned.)

We been discussing that for awhile now in the Doctor Strange 2 spoiler thread, so you might want to go there.

It’s a 10/10. Nothing anyone can say to convince me otherwise. A sheer joy to watch and it was 2 and a half hours that will live long in the memory.

Well done Marvel.

Since you have already seen it. Is it pretty clear that most of the villains are from alternate universes for example Green Goblin? If it was the original one it would create and time paradox and those don't exist in the MU. So I'm just wondering if that is explained or, as I'm just wondering if casual movie members will simply think that the event of the past films are undone.

There was one leak that I had hoped to have been true where Tobey returns to his world and goes home to see Dunst and has a little daughter whom he hugs. That would have been nice.

Yes it was established that they were from alternate universes.

Thanks.

So glad to hear that there won't be that much confusion. I was worried that
[Show spoiler]since Green Goblin is saved in this film, that others might think that that in the original Tobey's universe he would now be alive etc
Either way, glad to see that there shouldn't be any confusion with time paradox's etc.

I thought that was hilarious. I get why some would find it disappointing but I liked how abrupt it was.

Going from your spoiler comment, that’s exactly what people would think.
[Show spoiler]He came from the Raimiverse (which is an alternate universe from the MCU which I thought you meant) and goes back alive and cured.

I just saw this and it was good. Big spoilers:
[Show spoiler]It was so good to see Maguire and Garfield again. That scene where they first appeared was great. I think the villians were the weakest part. Dafoe was great but I wish he had more scenes.

Oh.
[Show spoiler]Yeah, I thought he would go back to an alternate Raimi verse since there are no time paradoxes. If Norman never dies, then Harry doesn't become the boss and doesn't hire Otto, and etc. Endgame made it clear that only branched timelines exist, so I just wanted to make that was explained here as well when it comes to time travel.

However, it's starting to sound like it's not?

I also watched it today. During the first half, I wasn't sure what to think of this movie. The action scenes were fantastic, but I didn't liked how the iconic villains were treated as a joke. But then came a BIG shift during the second half and I loved every single moment. I was happy how the MCU treated the Green Goblin, because damn, he will always be the best and most evil Spidey villain. But what impressed me the most was the fact that, when the movie was over, I finally felt that this was a real MCU Spider-Man movie and not just another Iron Boy movie. At the end, I finally loved Tom Holland as Spider-Man.

Thank you Marvel !
