Same. I picked up the deluxe uk 4k of Nightmare this last fall and I'll be jumping on whatever the most premium option is for all the films.

I’d like to believe that’s the case but let’s not rule out Warner pulling a fast one and releasing the later sequels together in double packs or something. Idk why but I’d be surprised if they released all 7or 8 films individually. I hope I’m wrong though.

I’ll wait until I see some artwork and what they’re going to be doing for the box set before I make any decision though.

There was a rumor that someone found a postcard for FVJ in one of their Arrow pickups but I’ve yet to see any evidence of that. I’ve only seen the post card for Jason X and Jason Goes to Hell. Since Warner is doing the whole NOES collection, I doubt they sublicensed FVJ and are probably just releasing it themselves.

I was wondering that as well. It's not a must for me, since I have it in the Shout Friday the 13th Box set. But I do wonder if WB will decide to put it on 4K for the first time.

I’ve always considered FVJ more of a Freddy film than a Friday film anyways. I think the question is will they be including the NOES remake in the 4K collection.

Hope yes. Came to appreciate FvJ after a rewatch during the pandemic. And there are things in the remake I like (Rooney Mara is the worse thing about it).

I can enjoy FVJ. I hate the remake with a passion but I still hope that’s included as well, just for completionist sake.

Tough to say if it will include the remake.. The Rocky 4K set didn't even include Rocky V, which was surprising. (Not surprising because it's a terrible movie) So I have to assume that they wouldn't bother with the remake on this set. In fact, I'm a little surprised anything beyond Dream Warriors is even being considered for 4K.
