Apparently there is going to be an “I Know What You Did Last Summer” tv series on Amazon Prime with James Wan (Saw, The Conjuring Universe) producing!

Hopefully with this coming to fruition, we’ll get a BD re-release of the films.

I'm getting really itching to buy an overpriced out of print Blu-Ray on eBay. I know Sony doesn't remaster the 1080p discs in their 4K sets now, but a new UHD with the old disc would likely still be cheaper than what the second hand market is asking for that old Sony disc (the Mill Creek one is apparently crap).

The German Blu-ray is $8.50, and says it arrives in less than a week.

The German BD is Region B locked. I can only play Region A discs.

glad i just read about how crappy the mill creek version is before buying it on ebay or amazon third party. So weird that a reissue is that much worse than the original issue (sony version)

I keep telling myself that it's only a matter of time before someone releases a special edition, but I'm actually shocked it's taken this long. Based on the survey's Sony sent out awhile back I've been keeping my fingers crossed a 4K (or at least a Special Edition) makes it's way to the market before next Fourth of July.

The 2nd film is definitely inferior but it's still a fun summer flick.

Honestly. Julie should have been the one to die and Helen was the surprise heroine.

I saw both movies this week. The second was dumb but I guess in a fun way.

While the first one is fine, I can hardly call it a horror film, it feels more like suspense with horror movie tropes. I agree that Helen had the better development and that she was a much better character than Julie (honestly Julie is so regressive as a final girl after Nancy and Sydney).

I Still Know What You Did Last Summer is also one of the best slasher movies ever made.

I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer is a decent slasher but nothing spectacular.
