I second Megamind 2, Hellboy III, and Hancock 2, but I'd only see Hellboy III if there are NO babies. Otherwise I'd especially love a sequel to Megamind.

It's all in the history. 1997 - Star Wars: Special Edition. Really an elaborate testing ground for the technology to be used in the prequal trilogy. Now we have six years of Star Wars 3D re-releases ahead of us. A sign there is a seventh in development?

Most people didn't hate the first one... It's actually very popular, that's why it made over $100 million at the box office and was quite critically acclaimed.

Anyway, I still want to see Evil Dead IV. But I know it'll never happen.

Agree with both of these. Also would like to see:

Riddick 3 - I'm one of the rare few who liked the second better than Pitch Black. I know they keep saying another is coming, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Prince of Persia 2 - The first one was a lot of fun and I'm sure they could come up with something good for a sequel.

G.I. Joe 2- I thought this was an awesome movie and would love to see the next installment. I hope it gets made.

Leon (aka The Professional) - call it Matilda. - though I read that Columbiana was suppose to be that movie... and while we are on Luc Besson related projects Nikita & Taken.

District 9 definitely needs a sequel. Kick Ass would be nice. Incredibles also.

My guilty pleasure would be to see another Appleseed anime (it was originally rumored to be a trilogy - 2 down, one to go).

The sequels I would like to see most are:

Kill Bill Part 3 - I would be willing to wait a few years for this, and have the daughter seek revenge.

Twin Peaks FWWM - Twenty Five Years after the events of Twin Peaks FWWM deals with an older Dale Cooper still stuck in the Black Lodge, and deals with agent Phillip Jeffries (David Bowie) whom mysteriously appears again 25 years later! Who wouldn't want to see this?! Come on David Lynch! Make it happen!
(Supposedly there were several scenes filmed with David Bowie which didn't make FWWM. How cool would it be to edit these into a sequel and have both an older and younger Bowie!)
