I got Transporter 1 today for 3.38 tax in at Markville Mall after trade in. Also realized the original version of Terminator movie is marked at 9.99 with a Go Green sticker! So I got that as well! They have the new version (with the linticular skull outer jacket priced at 2 for 30 or 17.99. But I realized it is literally the same disc, down to the cover sheet's product code when I pull the BR case out of the sleeve. So I decide to forget about that jacket and save myself another 8 bucks!

Well I checked my HMV for spaceballs. The price is higher than the website listed at 26.99. I didn't feel like going and asking if they would lower it or if its part of the promotion because at 26.99, the price isn't better than BB/FS/Wal Mart even after the trade in considering it isn't officially part of their deal and you have to get them to qualify it which leads to a YMMV.

Though at BB, you get a 10 dollars movie cash and Spaceballs is listed at 22.99.

Are you saying Spaceballs is only $19.99 at Walmart?

Due to my poor math skills, I was incorrect.

Yes it is 19.99 IF you can get HMV to qualify it. I still like the BB deal better because its less YMMV.

Doh. That's what the education system gets you, bad math skills.

Still though a YMMV. It is a FOX/MGM but you have to get them to qualify it.

I liked the BB deal better. I will fix my post.

Movie looks good for a 22 year old film. It did come with a standard DVD version of the movie which is nice for a dvd player or laptop.

Well right now, BB/FS has the best price. It is 19.99 minus 10 movie cash which brings it to 9.99.

Last I checked it was 26.99, could have dropped to 24.99.

This deal has gone cold from the lack of updates, prices too high and not enough titles.

Didn't have the trade in sticker on it when I went into HMV.

As for the movie cash with spaceballs? Is it the same thing X-men movies had - as in same sticker on the front of the case? I didn't see any stickers on the few I saw at the Futureshop I went to

Most titles don't. My HMV only has a small space dedicated to stickered items. I had to physically bring up Die Hard Collection for them to check it and authorize it for the trade in. You might get lucky by bringing the copy up to the cashier and asking them about it.

Yes when I picked up my copy last week, it had the same sticker as on the X-Men movies.

I agree, right now its hard to spend over 20 on a movie. The only movies I pay at full price are Pixar movies because they rarely go on sale. Time to hit up BB and see if they have new pulls.

I don't think any of the new Fox or MGM qualifies. The newly released catalog titles even seem to be YMMV

You should but YMMV. I hear some stores will treat it per disc giving you 70 while some will give you per movie so just 7. Good luck finding 70 to spend in HMV though, its hard to find anything worth while since they don't seem to include new releases and their prices are jacked up. Your best bet would be the die hard collection or X-Men trilogy.
