Struggling with uni life. Not sleeping well, failing to maintain any kind of positivity, can't commit to/focus on my work. I've been out of education for a while and I suppose it's to be expected but it's incredibly demoralizing.

I REALLY need a new job. I know that now is not a good time because places are shutting back down and not hiring, but I can't be at my current job any longer. I dread coming here every day.

I take it back.
I see elsewhere that you’re still a d**k.

OT,
Our Supervisor came to our meeting and was wanting to tear a strip off of some of us. Some of it was deserved.
It’s wild that some of my Teammates turned it around somehow and my Supervisor turned his anger towards others who weren’t really involved. I was right there to see it, but still don’t understand how they did it.
Good on them... I guess, lol.

Wondering why my former BIL would invite me to Thanksgiving dinner this year. I presume he knows his sister and I have separated and he never liked me anyway. He lives ~9hrs away in Virginia anyway and with everything going on I don't think I'll go.

Reminds me of how awkward Thanksgiving would be with former in-laws but with everything going on, I imagine interhousehold eating will be at a minimum. Not sure how they're going to handle Christmas.

My ex’s oldest brother doesn’t like me and after the last get together I was at, I swore to myself that I’d never go again.
Thankfully, that’ll never be an issue now.

So the roof has been finally fixed and now I wonder if I will be here for the ceiling since I seem to have lucked out for them coming when I got off work.

I'm a small time seller on eBay, mostly trying to offload my watched movies. Some guy tried to scam me and it's bothering me more than it should.

The other day, I was watching one of my Blu-Rays and I lazily left it running all the way through the end credits while surfing the internet, and the long Piracy Warning scroll text came up after the end credits and something (or somethingS) really caught my eye:

I just felt it was somewhat odd that they felt the need to explicitly mention oil rigs in the (long) FBI piracy warning. You could name a number of similar scenarios like campgrounds, RVs, outdoor projection screens, etc., all of which it'd be far more likely to be shown to others.

Also any school or flight is technically committing a crime every time they show movies to students or passengers even though we know they do this all the time and none have been criminally or civilly prosecuted AFAIK. And who hasn't brought movies over to their friend's house or a hotel to watch? That's technically illegal as well by letter of the law (that just came to my attention), but who would seriously prosecute that in the off-chance the FBI/police found out about it unless you charged admission?

Have personal shopping/utility carts gone out of style? I use one to haul my dirty clothes to the laundromat (I tend to do a LOT of laundry at once) and, occasionally, to the neighborhood market for groceries but I hardly see anyone else use them. People either have bags flung over their shoulders or are schlepping down a street with 4 or 5 heavy grocery bags carried by hand Is it a macho thing? Screw that - why would I put needless strain on my body when I can make my life a whole lot easier by using a cart. Gentlemen: drop the act and get yourselves a decent cart. Don't worry - NO ONE gives a f**k about your masculinity. Put yourselves and your health first

The situation I got myself into was resolved in a good way.

One of my Teammates is having a rough go and it angers me.
Two others have written shitty remarks in the drills’ B***h Book that are fn wrong.
I’m currently walking a fine line so can’t freak, but I gotta say something. I know it’ll get heated but feel I won’t be able to hold back.
I’m unsure how to go about this.

I'd probably use one if I knew where to buy one. My family had my Grandmother's growing up but I have no idea where it went.

OT: Why did I just now get a text for amazon locker when I already picked the package up and had to go through hoops to get a code when it says it was delivered hours ago. something is broken it seems.
