The defining attribute for these speakers will likely by the efficiency for many. If you have heard any of the high efficiency JBLs that would be similar.

They do sound promising 🐣 i will keep my eye on them. They wouldn't work for my living room, since you wont have veneer options right away.

I will certainty keep them in my list for my big project.

Tom,
How would you compare the new HSU VTF-15H MK2 Subwoofer to your lineup. Comparing performance and price.

I bet it will be a very good value. I'd like to wait to see some independent measurements (ala Josh Ricci) before making specific comparisons. But everything hsu tends to be good values so I'm sure anything new will be as well..

That's not surprising. Remember too, inexpensive (<$100) SPL meters all tend to read anywhere from 2dB to 7dB low in the 20-80hz range. So 121 on the meter is probably more like 123-125dB actual.

The XS15se still seems to surprise folks even though it has been shown to provide an unparalleled price/performance per databass. It always feels good when something Made in America sets the bar for all the chinese made competition..

Heads-up,

We have a couple XV15se going up in the outlet center as soon as we have time to update the site. 5% off each(so $854 versus $899). If someone wanted both....let's call it $1550.

Same 5 year warranty, 30 audition, free shipping both ways, etc. Both look/perform like new.

A couple pictures of the new Triax-18 and the (messy) office with the new speakers up front. You can't really tell but the MT110 center channel is tilted up about 10 degrees.

It's really nothing special. Same outer dimensions as the original Triax, same 4000 watt amp. Triple 18" drivers. Sealed. The weight is now down to 158 pounds or so without grills. So it will be much easier for customers to move into position compared to the old 230(?) pound model.

Anything in particular you are curious about Timcat?

Couple more shots of the new T-18s and about 18,000 watts of power ready for their wedding...
