no, but you need two movies to pay off the threat of a great villian considering how long he's been teased.

It's true that you don't but if you look at the type of movie they're making, it almost makes it essential you have a multi movie arc.

Lord of the Rings is the absolutely BEST example I can offer you where events take place over multiple movies and all are appreciated.

I'd add the last 3 harry potter movies to that list also - so much going on and such a massive villian that cant be contained to just one battle/movie

Lord of the Rings? LOL! That could have ended with one film if they threw the ring into the lava a lot sooner.

I don't know. I just think Thanos is overhyped is all. I much rather see Kang as the villain instead, or even this guy...

Well Ego and Super-Skrull are also owned by Fox, yet they must have made a deal anyway to have them in the MCU. So I don't see why they can't do the same for Kang? As for Doctor Doom, that the only Fantastic Four villain Fox cares about.

Are you talking about me? lol! I didn't even say anything about X-Men. Also I've been trashing on X-Men: Dark Phoenix for months, in case you have forgotten.

Mads would be an amazing Doom. Although even if he was cast, I'm sure the movie would still suck. Fox sucks in regards to the FF franchise so I have no hope.

After two failed versions, they have to get this one right!

Third times a charm, right?

Right?

Hell, at this point they should just let Bryan Singer reboot the Fantastic Four.

Yeah, yeah, I know a lot of people would object to that, but after three successful X-Men films (plus one not so successful, but still not that bad), I would welcome him. Of course, he would need to do it on the level of commitment and quality he gave us with Days of Future Past.

I'm not saying Singer is my top choice to direct an FF reboot, but he should be an obvious possible consideration for Fox.

Just send F4 to Netfix so they can rebuild the franchise with some long character building episodes.

No. They don't have the budget for that. Fantastic Four, Doctor Doom, and Galactus belong in the big screen.

Unless Marvel and Fox have secretly joined forces and planned for the Fantastic Four to surprisingly show up in the MCU Phase Four, a movie reboot by Fox is inevitable, so we might as well just accept it and hope for the best.
