lol yeah it's digital, I pre-ordered because I had money on my psn account, and didn't want to spend them on a sale before the dlc/expansion comes out

I'm thinking the hunters in Yahar'gul Chapel (second visit)

@supaflyz if that's where you are, just run past them, you're pretty late in the game to give up

EDIT: they're a trio, so probably not them..

An actual expansion to the game is in fact DLC, not Disc Locked Content. I see devs have already influenced the minds of this gaming generation by unlocking a portion for a price & calling it DLC. Same acronym, entirely different meaning.

Yes, it can't sell out. I dunno where that came from. As for pre-ordering it, you get faster access to the content thanks to Pre-Load. Other than that it's your typical DLC which is tied to your PSN account as long as PSN exists.

Forgot I recently deleted the game & was gonna re-download it when the DLC came out. Getting harder to micro manage Sony's limited HDD options.

I'm not from this gaming generation, been playing since the Atari and original Nintendo days. I'm more out of touch with DLC since I took a break from gaming for a few years and got back into it around 2012 but didn't play a lot of games that had DLC or DLC that interested me.

I am thinking it is the 2 hunters to the right of the Grand Cathedral. I did not know what there were either when I first encountered them. I was so used to the slow towns people, and I was playing offline so I knew it was not an invasion, but it wasn't a boss fight either so it was very perplexing.

Can't access PS Blog at work...so this is now coming to NA and not limited to EU anymore?

I was actually planning on creating an EU account and replaying the game just to get the "Platinum" theme.

Sorry wasn't directly at you. More so how devs have influenced people to believe DLC stands for Disc Locked Content & they buy into that BS concept. Which makes me sick because the 7th gen consoles had "real" Down Load Content & 8th gen transitioned that model into Disc Locked because.. Well.. Greedy little multi-billionaire companies are apparently struggling to put food on the table.

It was posted on the NA PS Blog site recently by a producer from Japan Studio. Should be legit.

No problem!

I can't wait for this to come out. Just recently finished getting a platinum on The Evil Within and jumped right back into Bloodborne on my main character. Been leveling up big time in one of the labyrinthes to get ready. Awhile back I went and found all of the extra weapons as well.

That's cool.

I just couldn't deal with all the dungeons but I almost got all the weapons. Will be interesting getting these new ones & seeing how they stack up.

Rumours of DLC were apparently making there way when this was discovered. Someone figured it out that it is a shortcut that can't be accessed by using shining coins. Would lead you to the first boss if it could be open & IMO is the reason why it isn't available. If it was, you'd be able to skip the first boss & come to him from behind. I think it was just an Oops on From Software's part.

Just finished my first play through of Bloodborne, and I have to say this is one of my favorite games of all time. There were times I wanted to throw the controller through the television, but it only seemed to make me want to finish the game even more. Looking forward to the Old Hunters expansion.

Yeah it does give off that love/hate/love type feel a lot.

Now that most of the heavy hitters have been released & I have seen enough Star Wars to know what that's gonna look like. It appears Bloodborne & Until Dawn are fighting each other over best games graphics on PS4. I think Bloodborne has a slight edge just cuz of the mix of character animations not done in mo-cap.

After playing everything but Bloodborne, I recently started it up just to bump the game tile in front so I wouldn't forget about Hunter's Dream & damn this game is wayyy more polished then I remembered.

A giant pig killed me, ran all the way, got my blood echoes back, killed the pig, ran ahead...fell into an invisible bottomless pit. This game is just mean.

I like, but am not a huge fan of Demon's or Dark Souls. Bloodborne, so far, is my game of the year (and that says a lot this year). The combat is extremely polished, the setting is fantastically Lovecraftian, and the difficulty seems toned down just enough to be a little more fair than the previous Souls games.

Then again, personal taste is personal taste, so you may dislike this one just as much as the Souls games, just as others prefer the Souls games to Bloodborne. For $16, it's definitely worth a try, I think.

You're not the only one. I know exactly which pig and what pit you're talking about.
