Love the Jodorowsky quotes CG. That is a man. I'm seeing Holy Mountain in a few weeks on the big screen, pretty pumped. And just so this post is not off-topic, I really want Blow Out on Criterion blu-ray and I don't care if it was just hinted. I want it now.

I know we're being WAY OFF topic CG! It's a shame Billy G didn't work out for you, but hey! you got the better deal in the end, right?

Thanks, they are from an interview I read. Pretty funny. Jodorowsky confirmed he did a cut with Dennis Hopper of his film The Last Movie. I'm still hoping the original cut will come on dvd, let alone a Jodorowsky cut. Have fun seeing Holy Mountain on the big screen. I wish I could.

While I can wait for Blow Out, I like the way you handle things. "I want it now". F requests.

I liked Billy G, at the end. I don't know what the better deal is yet. I don't want to be one of those teams that grooms NBA stars. I want titles, champs, not one and dones.

My best good friend went to UK for undergrad when Billy coached and then Tex A&M for grad and now works for the sports dep. He's been told that while Billy was at aTm he was quite a hand full for his colleagues, but that everyone thought while they hated to let him go, that he was a good fit for UK. Well... not sure he was now, although I guess some UK fans still like him.

On a criterion note... I want them to surprise us with something new like The Devil's Backbone or even Great Expectations. I'll settle for something expected though, such as The Killing. Anybody else?

That would be nice..... Would keep me from importing it from the UK (and buying a new player in order to play it )

My answer to everything now is The Last Movie until they release it.

I hope Criterion announces films recently released on DVD only like The Fugitive Kind, Dillinger Is Dead, Night Train To Munich, Made In The USA or Cria Cuervos.

Any chance for Kurosawa titles? I'm hoping for Rashomon, Throne of Blood, Hidden Fortress, Bad Sleep Well and/or Red Beard.

Of course I'm also hoping to see that Criterion has re-acquired the rights to Ran but I know that's not happening and I'm happy with SC's copy.
