Just ordered the UK Exorcist Anthology for £8 ($10) and am working on retro covers for them. Just finished Exorcist II and am planning the 3rd.

Spend most of my weekend relaxing and doing custom covers! There is the new batch of space-saver covers (some are reproduction of the re-releases made by the studios), but many are made up:

If you bought each Theatrical Editions & Extended Editions of the Hobbit Trilogy and wish, like me, that you'd waited for the final box sets, well, you can now print these! This Blu-ray cover fit a 6-Disc Blu-ray case (15mm spine):



For the Extended Editions, you can print that particular design on cardboard, assemble it, and then you'll have the similar look with the LOTR Extended Edition Boxset.



I decided to keep it simple and made it as a simple slipcase instead of the magnetic closure box, but what was important for me was the spine. This is the Canadian version, but it is pretty similar to the US design. It should fit all three Hobbit Trilogy cases, with the outer sturdy box. Note that there is extra bleed all around the design, to make it prettier when folding and gluing the box. Good luck and enjoy!

Tomorrow I'll go to a print store and print it on cardboard!

These are great. Thank you. One thing that I did notice was that the running times at the bottom of 6 and 7 show the wrong titles.

Retro cover for Exorcist III

Didn't want to just cut n' paste the poster art, so found a newspaper ad which was sufficiently degraded, along with it being black & white to make it look genuinely of the early 80s video era.

The quality loses something when uploading it here, though...

I love the custom cover art people have created and am wondering - have any of you ever made custom disc art? Do those stickers that go on a DVD disc work or totally throw off the disc as some sites claim? I'm interested in creating a custom set for something that hasn't been released on discs ever.

I used to use those stick on labels for a couple of dvds, until I had one get stuck in the player because the glue around the center got warm. Needless to say it completely ruined the player.

Because BBC is really inconsistent with its Doctor Who releases I am working on my own covers for the whole series so I can have a decent looking shelf.



I have Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi eras already in progress. The layout will be similar, but they will differ in colour scheme. Matt Smith era will be greenish and Capaldi will be purple. I guess Tennant will be blue and Eccleston more red.
