I think it sucks that we haven't even got the full trailer yet and somewhere people have already seen this movie .

That's pretty much normal with test screenings. There's not even a teaser for 'Dumb and Dumber To', but it test screened back in February.

And he said basically that they aren't saying that it will do as good as the Avengers but that thats the plan . I really think it has Avengers type potential with the right team . But not that team , I think maybe if they added a couple like one from Thor like Beta Ray Bill or Thor's sister Angela and maybe Nova or Cap Marvel .

Avengers type potential as in what? Cinema score? RT score? What it'll make at the box office?

I think he was talking as a franchise like the Avengers , probably meaning box office but not just the first movie the way he talked about the growth of the Cap America from the first movie to where it is now .

Eh. She needs to have an in-universe backstory since they can't reference Image and Spawn.

And connecting her to the Asgardians makes the most sense given her Image origins.

And her character design... especially the similar Thor-like wings on her helm.

Yea they had to put her somewhere and she kinda does fit in with Thor . I wonder if she will be in the Thor movies or the GOTG movies lol .

We'll probably get another Guardians of the galaxy trailer sometime either this month or in June. There has only been one trailer released for it so far, that was released in February if I remember correctly.

Can we get a new trailer for this already? Ever since the first trailer was put out back in February, I keep seeing the same damn trailer in every damn movie I've gone to in the last 2 and a half months it's driving me nuts! I really wanna see the movie but I'm getting tired of seeing this trailer over and over again at the theater.

with all this asking and demanding for new trailers, we better not see people posting how they wish they wouldn't show so many trailers or show too much in the trailers or the trailers are too long either!

I think it's quite fair to want to see a little more. This is the first time we see Guardians on the big screen. The last trailer served as bridge to introduce the characters to new audiences, and the next trailer should attempt to explain that these characters exist in the same universe with The Avengers and it's a very important chapter in the MCU.

I've had many friends who thinks that Guardians is a separate entry and unrelated to the MCU. Makes wished Marvel had added a little something from Guardians instead of Ultron into Winter Soldier.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on the other hand was almost as bad as the old Spider-Man 3. So much promotional material that you could edit and piece one coherent story altogether.

Me? I'm not fond of it at all. I hate Spawn with the intensity of a million suns. Jamming her into the Marvel rosters only further muddies the waters of storytelling for Marvel's readers.

Marvel really "ceased making sense" back in the seventies.

Me , I don't mind much the way I look at it is they can expand Thor's comics by adding other super heroes and villains and even new planets or realms because it will eventually make it to the movies . Better to expand Thor than X-men or Spider man which Marvel does not have rights to .

Plus as I noted before... Angela's design is very Asgardian in nature anyway.

Especially the Thor-like wings on the sides of her helm. As long as it's done well, that's what matters.
