First 3 bosses killed me a combined 24 times, and I have to assume it's only going to get worse as the game goes along. The dread is real.

it actually tends to get easier as you go as you learn more patience.. watch the attacks and try and learn the patterns and where its safe to be when they attack ...

i cant wait for DLC next week ..

I think I already defeated that boss on my current playthrough.. hopefully I'd be able to access the new area if I went back to the Cathedral Ward

if not, I'll just start a new character, I guess, and 'speed run' to the Cathedral Ward

I agree it is kind of bullshit, the Dark Souls II dlc was the same way too

it says you just have to use the altar so no if you already killed the boss you should be fine

I pre-ordered the DLC last night while the new patch was being downloaded. Going to play this tonight to experience a bit of the new stuff before Monday.

i didnt look for one so cant say ... and they say you can summon the old hunters in chalice dungeons , but yet i was unable to ...

Stupid question but I'll still ask. You were wearing that new Rune right? I was able to summon Father Gascoigne near that old water fountain in first part of the game. They'll be a red pattern on the ground. I'm on NG++++ so he wasn't much help on the Cleric Beast though.

The articles that wrote about the new Patch being able to let you look at League records but I think they're wrong and that won't be available until you get the DLC.

Yes i had the rune on. And i was able to summon someone at the spider boss. But i have not been able to summon anyone in a chalice dumgeon im trying to finish. Im stuck om the 3 twins boss Though ive gone up almost ten levels since my last try

Yes you have to join the new covenant " The League" then complete a co op crush the vermin and talk to the covenant leader again

Ok, so do I just have to ring the bell to help other players fight bosses then? I thought this new co-op thing was something different you had to do.
