It was to have an enormous lot of innuendo about shared universes.

It was just a very elongated cocktease.

I will admit within the moment it was extremely meta and clever, but after the fact, I see it as unnecessary. It is equivalent to purposefully duping the audience.

I was thinking about what Darcy said that Monica's molecules were altered.

So what if everyone who was snapped and then blipped was already somewhat altered? And with Monica being snapped, blipped, into the hex, out of the hex, and back into the hex giving her powers, could there be more in Westview who would be "altered" as well?

More specifically, what if Ralph was snapped, blipped, into the hex, out the hex, plus with Agatha giving him powers, he was inadvertently made into a mutant?
What if Ralph changes his name to Pietro and becomes the MCU's Quicksilver anyway?

My theory was always that humans who were snapped and blipped would become the MCU mutants. But then WandaVision added that hex factor (yes, pun intended).
I'm very intrigued to see if we just witnessed the first mutants in Westview.

(Sorry for the rambling, but this was on my mind lately.)

I totally agree, I reckon the Westview residents will turn out to be mutants now too. It would just be too convenient not to do it.

But I hope Ralph Bohner gets retconned as X Men Quicksilber rather than simply 'becoming' a new Quicksilver because of the Hex and Agnes giving him those powers. It would be much more interesting if he had come from the X Men universe all along.

I just finished binge watching this today and Marvel continues to amaze me.

There was the fun Halloween night throwback which was so cool especially since I read the comics when they actually looked like that.

But the finale when I saw what was a retro throwback but updated was awesome. The Scarlet Witch was that ever used in any of the MCU films? I don’t recall if it ever was.

Great show now on to Falcon and Winter Soldier!

The name "Scarlet Witch" was never used in the movies prior to this. Even when she was credited, it was always as Wanda Maximoff. I think only some merchandise would call her the Scarlet Witch.

I don't know how people manage to do the binge-watching. It would just hurt my eyes watching TV for that long.

I mean: it's a surreal masterpiece with an unprecedented quality in filmmaking.

Exactly like DOOM PATROL (2019-2020) from CW.

Finally, MARVEL/MCU has reached this peak.

I got two questions:


SPOILERS



1- SCARLET WITCH: so basically, the MCU Wanda Maximoff is neither a mutant, nor a stone-altered being, but a real witch manipulating chaos magic and being "prophesied" in the BOOK that Agatha talks about. The Mind Stone just awoke and amplified her latent powers. And a "shard" of the Mind Stone's energy/essence was absorbed by her body anyway.
This doesn't truly explain HOW the MCU Pietro Maximoff acquired his powers, if Wanda is not a mutant or a stone-altered being. Right?

2- VISION: the original VISION was the result of the fusion of J.A.R.V.I.S., the MIND STONE, ULTRON's "uploaded" mind and the Vibranium-made "synthezoid". Right? So he was a totally new being, he wasn't J.A.R.V.I.S. He was Vision.
I guess that the "Soul Vision" (who came from the "shard" of the Mind Stone inside Wanda) just transferred his "Mind Stone essence" inside the White Vision, turning him into an exact replica of the old Vision (even if the body had been modified/upgraded). Right?

I don't trust people who can binge a full season in a day, unless maybe it's a 6 episode 20ish-minute-without-commercials show lol I personally like to watch a show at "once" but it takes me 2+ days depending on the length. For me it's more of a marathon than a binge.

[Show spoiler]maybe this is their vague MCU take on the High Evolutionary because with the newest comics retcon, they're not Magneto's children and the High Evolutionary experimented on them which is how Quicksilver was given powers, and it just increased Wanda's pre-existing access to magic... which seems to be the direction they're taking the MCU SW in.

I'll try to grab one if he re-stocks them. Watching the first 3 episodes on my CRT LD setup would be totally amazing. It's also probably the closest we'll ever get to a Blu-ray release.

That said, I do wonder if he could get into doo doo for selling these.
