Agreed in regards to the slog. It feels like a super long movie. Having said that, I still enjoyed it but can't deny the slog (it's the same deal with Star Wars The Force Awakens for me, pacing is a slog but I still enjoyed it overall). The first Blade Runner remains the best out of the two.

Another film that suffers from a long slog IMO. Still an overall enjoyable movie but damn, the slog.

TROS is excellent and one of the best Star Wars films! All three of the Sequel Trilogy films are excellent and top tier Star Wars, lightyears beyond the Prequels in terms of filmmaking (Revenge of the Sith is good, though - best of the three Prequels).

TROS is also the most underrated and misunderstood film of the last 20 years. I firmly believe that it will be getting a proper reappraisal in the future when people can watch it with a more fair, level-headed mindset. Anyone who disagrees can fight me over a lava pit on Mustafar! I have the high ground.



Another honorable mention of an underrated, good film - Tron: Legacy. Amazing soundtrack by Daft Punk as well if you ask me!

I did notice that when I compared a certain filmmakers films to older, less mainstream work, that someone never really responded to me.

It was weird since he seemed so knowledgeable about movies.
