I am not seeking a political discussion; if I wanted to be banned there are far faster and funnier ways to accomplish it.

In my previous post contrasting the two pandemics, I was looking at lots of numbers and I was really struck by how large the case and death numbers are for the U.S. considering its tiny share of the world's population.

Considering this disparity, it is great that we have so many ways to entertain ourselves at home thanks to the many options that the internet makes available to us. Alchav can keep streaming and I can keep buying more discs online.

Doing both, watched E6 of Night on Earth last night via Netflix. It would never get above 11.55 Mbps despite the Netflix network server check showing > 203 Mbps. Next was Star Wars V (UHD BD), the folks at Disney did a pretty good job with the Dolby Atmos sound track and that alone made the upgrade worthwhile to me. Forgot to spot check this one but IV would bump > 90 Mbps on occasion.

I will be busy with my American History documentary marathon for a long while yet. I do not foresee streaming anything for quite sometime.

I’m a guy who likes to have things to look forward to, whether it’s a holiday with family, Christmas, my football team’s home games, getting new tech, new films at cinema etc..

I’m finding it tough not to have those things. My coping mechanisms for life are stripped away lol.

Glad I’m still able to work though, I wouldn’t fancy having to claim benefits Like many have. Having a job one day and not the nex, small mercies. I can afford (newish) discs and pay off the rest of my mortgage, I should be extremely grateful I guess.

Counting one's blessings, or benefits, helps to keep things in perspective.

The pandemic, thus far, has only inconvenienced me and those that I know. Far worse outcomes could have occurred, so how can I complain?

History interests me greatly and all the caffeine in the colas and iced teas that I sip on throughout the day keep me nice and alert and .

I like horror, too, but my visits to the news websites more than satisfies that interest. Who needs a horror film when we have the 24 hour news cycle?

I own and I have seen the first 13 seasons; I still haven't watched season 14, though. I hear that season 15 is the last one.

The 15th series finale was originally set to air on May 18, 2020, however, in March 2020, Warner Bros. Television shut down production on the series due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Later in March, showrunner Andrew Dabb revealed that the season would go on hiatus after the March 23 episode. Dabb clarified that the series had completed production on 18 of the 20 episodes for the season, but the post-production process could not be completed on the episodes because of the shutdown due to the virus outbreak. Dabb also assured that the series' cast and crew, The CW, and Warner Bros. are fully committed to filming and airing the unproduced episodes with its proper finale.

Its hardly related to any doom, there are obvious reasons. We need to celebrate what they were able to improve with older titles.

Unfortunately, Twilight Time is a small player in a big market and must compete with several other labels that do basically the same thing – including Criterion, Olive Films and Shout! Factory, among others. What distinguishes Twilight Time, for better or worse, is its frustrating sales model that limits distribution to one outlet (Screen Archives, which has a very rudimentary web site that looks like it was designed circa 1997) and has a fixed limit of only 3,000 copies per title. Once a disc sells out, it’s gone.
