I've now watched the first 3 movies from my box set and it's amazing. I'm really amazed at the AQ every scene the Rear surrounds are booming with action.

I'm a real big audio buff and I'm loving the Audio on these movies, I think they done a fantastic job to the whole package to blu ray.

I'm going to start on the last three and looking forward to it. £60 well spent IMO.......

I have an S-360 also so i checked mine quickly last night after reading this as i've only watched the first two films.

Didn't see any problem with mine.

Amazon uk have now sold out of the film cell and it's now being listed on marketplace for over £92.So going on the Amazon price for the set without the cell they're asking for around £25 for the film cell, ridiculous

And more ridiculous are the people who buy them.

I got my film cell version in time though, and for amazon price.

Finished the Saga and watched Episode VI tonight. Though honestly I think I might like Episode III slightly more... So my order is, from best to worst:
V
IV
III
VI
II
I

Though I'm still not sure which I prefer out of Episode I and II. They both have parts I like and parts I dislike.

I feel I'm having problems playing my discs. I have an oppo bdp93 and I've never known such slow loading times. I've been trying to watch the deleted scenes and it's just unwatchable unless you have time for the menus to catch up with themselves.

I have bd live off and persistent storage is cleared. Any similar probs out there with the same player? Any help greatly appreciated.

When I first tried spinning through them the loading times were slow, I bought Dead Island (First new game for about a year) last week and as usual it came with an autoinstall of a newer version of ps software. All the discs run fine now.

Unless it was digitally projected. Otherwise as you said: film reels.

Do you think film cells of films shot on film are normally pieces of the negative? They're always basically worthless.

Mass produced promotional item that ain't worth shit (not even exclusive). As with everything else that has Star Wars on it, the morons think it's worth a fortune. They can put a price tag of £92 on it all day long. It could be the asking price, but (LMAO) it don't mean it's the selling price. Just wishful thinking.

One day these idiots might realise that they're just... well... idiots. Then again, Lucas might release the theatricals for Christmas.

I pretty much live by that message all year round and have done for the last 20 or so years.

Yes I'm aware of that, but the fact it was filmed digitally just seems to make it even more redundant, especially to people trying to buy it separately. Madness

Hey,

Watched the first 3 films. Has anyone noticed the really bad picture compression on Ep III. When Padmay gives birth her white belly is all jaggy. Also on Darths chest as he talks the first time.
Notice a piece here and there on the first 2 films. But it is really horid on the third one. Any white and black is very very jaggy (digital compression).
Pissed off. Not good enougth in this day and age.

Ta Dono

This was my first Blu ray purchase, the PT don't look much better than they did on DVD, but the OT looked fantastic - aside from Jedi which [once again] hasn't been cleaned up - that matte painting of the Falcon makes my teeth itch

That guy who was selling the Limited Edition on ebay for £125 naturally didn't sell it, so he relisted it at the same price.

Idiot
