just finished watching Piranha 3DD. I don't know what to think of it. it's laughable and cringe worthy. 3D is good during the fish sequence otherwise it add depth only.

Watched Fright Night, like the movie and the soundtrack and 3D are good.

Edit: full screen scary!

Got Fright Night lined up to watch again very soon, i love the movie, great visuals, great soundtrack and really nice 3D with some fun pop outs. Is it heresy to say i prefer it to the original?

I like the first movie better, but this is scarier and 3D, underrated gem. When the girl goes out and explodes a great pop out, a few feet from the screen ! Also some hot females.

Edit : Stake through the heart sparks flew 10 ft. from screen! Had to put out burning embers on my pants. Highly Recommended!

Sorry, beyond my skill level. If you look under my movies, under blu Ray collection, pick “F” and there it is. Collin Farrell is the Vampire. Rubbish to your rubbish! If you hate the movie, the pop outs are worth it alone, and it’s good!

Edit: watch it again... oh yeah you gave it away.

Yes beyond mine to that’s why I didn’t post a pic , sounds like that’s the one, I’ll buy it again on yours and levcores comments…
I actually think my Dad may of had it so that means mum will have it now. Mum hasn’t watched a film since dad passed away, they both loved 3D.

Make sure you review after your watch. I’m always open to differing opinions.

Coralline for us tonight, one thing I’ve noticed is that on the “Button” side the 3D looks tremendous, I may have missed previous reviews or comments etc on this. With her normal parents the 3D is often very mild, so much so you could easily watch with no 3D glasses on.

Hi waverboy

As promised, put Toy Story 1 and 2 in my main system for a few minutes. Each really had very good 3D.

Certain scenes also appear as demonstrations on the Disney Wow bluray calibration disc. Will admit the 3D is darker, causing less detail and a slightly bit softer picture. But the 3D itself is still very good Pixar or not.

Wow, that’s most encouraging! Thanks! I’ll be ordering the 3-pack next payday methinks!

It’s always a bit controversial when talking about Disney Pixar 3D, I used to complain about the lack of pop out myself years ago but now really appreciate the extra dimension, take last weeken for instance when we were watching Finding nemo on the projector, really enjoying it when we had a power cut . Obviously it couldn’t restart the projector right away until the lamp had cooled off so we cotinued watching in 2D on our 65” tv, it just wasn’t the same at all, no immersion etc. So I would definitely recommend the 4 toy story’s but don’t expect objects to fly out the screen into your lap

For October, horror and Halloween themed movies have been making their way to the top of my first time to watch pile. Recently watched
Hidden (bad movie, not very good 3D to me even though native)
Forbidden Girl (strange plot but outstanding 3D and atmosphere)
Lost Place (ok story and good 3D)
Sleepwalker (not English friendly; ok plot and 3D)
Happy Family (terrible movie but great 3D; just a notch below nWave)
Zombillenium (not English friendly; surprisingly very good 3D with a decent story)
The Suicide Shop (not English friendly; decent 3D and pretty good story)

The standouts for me were Forbidden Girl and Zombillenium, highly recommend both. I was not able to find very much information for Zombillenium especially and was not expecting much but I really liked the art style and the 3D worked really well. It looks unique from most other 3D animated movies and it's worth picking up (if you can do without English or have a means of importing subtitles).

Is the German "Dragon - Love is a Scary Tale" a real conversion or an auto-conversion?

Yeah I've never seen or heard of that one being a legitimate 3D presentation.
