NOTE: There appears to be a mastering error. On my release there are multiple dropped frames/skips that can be seen at 00.52.07, 00.52.17, and 01.22.47. At the moment I do not know how many discs are affected, but I have a final market version of this release. I have sent a request for additional information and will update our review when I receive it.

My Fassbinder set just arrived! A hefty brick of a collection, even with the clear slimline cases. Never seen any Fassbinder so can't wait to get stuck into this.

I don't think so - I ordered my 5 for £30 offer last Friday (11th) and one was dispatched that day, but the second wasn't dispatched 'til Monday. The rest of my order was dispatched yesterday.

1st Class postage though - if you live in the UK they should arrive next day!

You can set up uk po boxes in other countries but you are charged per delivery, therefore if they were to ship all 5 of a 5 for 30 order seperatly he would be charged 5 times as much as if one was delivered!!

Do you know if they ship their orders together?
I have had one dispatch note for one BD, but three arrived this morning from HMV, all posted individually, and one in a larger box than the others.

Actually, I was wrong! If two of yours were dispatched together (check the times of the separate dispatch emails) they should arrive in the same box. I just received my last three, and two of them were in the same box (Milano Calibro 9 and Tenebrae). The third one (Buckaroo Banzai) was in a larger box on its own.

Two of my Arrow titles have arrived wrapped in a cellophane type packaging compared to the typical shrink wrap on Arrow titles, wondering if these are re-seals as there was a slight tear to the Rollerball booklet

I thought that Arrow do cellphane with a strip that you can tear away like a packet of cigarettes?

Shrink wrapping is normally a sign of a re-seal.

Yeah that's the normal packaging but this was one of those cellophane wraps with no strip to tear at the bottom and was all creased up where the case opens from.

I bought Coffy recently and it was also rewrapped, but I remembered that's because there was a typo on the reverse artwork and they had to fix it. Arrow do sometimes rewrap stuff for some reason, but sometimes I don't know why - maybe to check things, like if there's a booklet intact? Some people complained recently about missing booklets and postcards.

If everything's mint other than the booklet, I wouldn't worry too much. Is the damage significant? If it is you can always return it.

Would you wait until it was on sale before purchasing the standard edition?

I watched Death Walks At Midnight this evening, and I can report it's another pristine restoration job. Both films look absolutely marvelous.

One thing I noticed when watching the Michael Mckenzie video essay, is they used a new clip from The Bird with the Crystal Plumage, and it looked like a brand new restoration unlike any other version currently available. So I reckon it's definitely going to be the as yet unannounced Argento release.

If anyone who wants Out 1 can't afford the Arrow set, you can get the region-free US release for about £40 shipped from DVD Planet using promo code (expires today) LUCKY. Plus potential customs of course.

I guess that set is "only" Out 1 and not Dulle, Noroit and Merry-Go-Round, though?
