Careful there man, we don't want to upset the Lucas apologists do we? They're already reeling enough as it is right now.

Just saw it for the second time. Even better! This is quickly becoming one of my favorite Star Wars things. The film is so layered, from how active everything is, to the framing and lighting of scenes. It's Star Wars, through and through, and delights to no end!

It seems that, the more people are looking forward to a movie, the more previews we have to sit through.

I'll break mine down that I saw before The Force Awakens at my theater...

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows

No. Just...no.

Warcraft
This just makes me realize how inferior every other sci-fi/fantasy franchise is to Star Wars. Haha.

Independence Day: Resurgence
I'll probably see this one, but I'll keep trying to talk myself out of going to see it.

X-Men: Apocalypse
I loved First Class and I liked Future Past okay, but nothing about this new sequel trailer quickened my pulse.

Captain America: Civil War

I cannot wait for this one (and not just because I worked as a background extra during the filming).

Zootopia
This trailer got me laughing, because the sloths...were...just...like...real...D...M...V...e mployees. I'll probably skip it at the theater, though.

The 5th Wave

I'm interested in this one, because it looks like a cool flick, it was filmed here in Atlanta, and I want to see some familiar places getting destroyed. I'll never be able to take the father seriously, though, since he's the guy from Office Space.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

Trailers that put me to sleep and where to find them.
Same here in the U.K,it seems like the more anticipated movies get far more product and movie adverts,I did not think the movie was ever going to start.

So after seeing the film later this afternoon I felt that the trailers spoiled quite a few surprising moments.

According to Daisy Ridley, Steven Spielberg has watched The Force Awakens 3 times so far...has anyone here watched it more than that yet?

He will be back. That is at least the 5th account that sad, pathetic person has made tonight. Coming in and being a racist and spoiling the film for people. Loser needs to get a life.

I plan to watch it again at least 3-4 times while it's in theaters.

Also, Spielberg is one lucky SOB.

I saw the Phantom Menace in theatres many times, trying to understand why I didn't like it. I thought maybe eventually it would click and I would get it. The opposite happened. The more I saw it, the worse it got. I kept finding more and more wrong with it.
I've seen Force Awakens four times so far, and it gets BETTER each time I see it. I like it more and more. I see something new every time. I am excited to see it again. That is the effect a Star Wars movie should have!

"You wanna go check out the jewelry store today or something? But first, we both gotta make a pit stop at the theaters for about 2 and a half hours, okay?"

Saw it loved it right up with SW4.

1 gripe............yes just 1 and no its not a spoiler.

I really didnt like how they had Rey do more in this movie than Luke and Vader did in the 3 original movies combined. I mean come on can you please JJ bring the "girl power" thing down just a notch or two?

She flies the Falcon just as well if not slightly better than Han and knows more about it than Han and without ANY training what so ever is a bad a$$ with a lightsabre.

Please JJ bring it down a notch or two next movie?

Star Wars comment threads are the only thing that can bring out the worst in people even more than divorce and rush-hour traffic.

She knows a lot about ships and such from scavenging. She was a really good fighter with that staff before she acquired a lightsaber. I think she is awesome!

So much dark side going on in the thread. People should have known to stay away from the forums to avoid bad vibes and spoilers though. I went on a media ban for two months before the release, no Facebook or anything.

Watched the movie a third time today. I'm so pleased with it such a massive leap in the right direction and in my opinion as of now, tird for second best in the franchise. Can't decide between this or Jedi...

I heard there was an organized group of people actively trying to spoil the movie on the internet. Maybe websites should hold off on new members for a few weeks.

It's a group that wants the original EU to be canon again. It's pretty funny.
