And I managed to stay off Destiny for a full day yesterday after binging for a week.

I'm 299 if I equip the raid weapons, my 284 ghost is really dragging me down. I jumped in at the death singers with icee and his group and finished with a helmet, hand canon, shotgun, and titan mark, took me from 295-299 but the armor is ugly and the weapons seem lack luster.

I will hang on to them and use them to get better drops then use them for boosting other things.

On another note, Ken and JR managed to get into the same court last night, we got a couple randoms in the party and had 8 people going at it, lol. I think we burned through nearly every rune any of us had!

Thats pretty awesome. Yeah I got rid of the one armor drop I had to infuse into something else. The weapons main blessing is cocoon and that can prevent you from ever reloading if done properly...

Glad you got to finish it.

i think all of the legendary boots have selectable ammo perks w/ rocket or machine gun. they just won't show up when you look at the splash screen because the other weapon type (ie fusion) is the top option.

I don't know what you used to get but the MG boots only gave like 13 rounds for my thunderlord, kinda useless....

Gave me +24 with Field Scout, to 180. Better than the 97 it starts with.

Some of that is field scout though....or maybe not? I played with it trying different combinations and by themselves they only gave a few rounds, but yeah a little more with field scout. I forgot that they changed that perk though, its only reserve now...

You're wasting your 3oC, then. It's been well documented on Reddit that taking more than one at a time does not increase your chance at a drop. They act just like any other telemetry.

On a related note: I got my 4th freaking Hawkmoon last night. After I encrypted that, I tossed the remaining exotic engrams into my vault to decrypt after I hit 300 so they are 310.

Yep. This is very good SGA for all to understand. You need to look at the perks on the item screen before blindly dismantling. Also (and I'm sure most have already figured this out), the INT/DIS/STR are selectable and not additive. I just realized that over the weekend.

I've yet to use a rocket launcher in TTK.

Used my first 150 marks on a Thunderlord, then got the Raid MG, haven't looked back. Much more damage opportunities per clip, less chance at accidental deaths.

Part of me is itching to try the Truth, though.

I purchased both Truth and Thunderlord but haven't used either yet (too addicted to Zhaloc Supercell). Void rocket launcher was nice for last weeks nightfall with all the void shielded guys and should be good for this week's void burn nightfall.

My Titan "astronaut" helm has RL tracking, so I use one quite a bit with him. Also bought a Y2 Truth to use with other gear/toons. I'd much rather use a sword, but that's only good for enemies that can't one-hit melee you.

Yeah, but that thing is fugly! It is a little known fact that killing things is 87% funner when you look good doing it. Impossible when wearing a goldfish tank for a hat....

You can only get one per character and well since I only have one character I'm getting one weapon. Can't remember what it is though.
