That site mentions their advance copy system where they strive to get U.S. titles to foreign countries quicker than it would be in stores in their native lands. This means that they somehow should (and do) have early stock of those titles but yes, it's still illegal.

This movie stunk big time. I mean, it was crap. Terrible. I hate it...

But I'm gonna buy it. Not release date or anything. I'll wait for a decent price drop, but this will be in my collection, even though I mostly rent these days.

Why? 2 reasons;

1. I have two out of three movies in a trilogy. If I own Child's Play 2, Transformers 2 and Star Trek 5, I think I can give this one the time of day too.

and 2. Y'all love it so much. Like, SO MUCH. I respect the opinions of a lot of people who love it, so it is possible I missed something. I don't even remember the end, so it seems like it is worth a re-watch.

If I re-watch it and the initial opinion remains, then yeah, at least I have the whole trilogy. And with five kids, at least one of them's gonna like it when they grow up.

But, if I catch that thing I missed, and it blows me away second time, then I've scored!

It's win/win really... Even for you lot, cause my purchase will add to the overall sales and success of this movie!

Lol!

I own them. But for a different reason. I was a kid when they came out, so I bought them because they were "awesome!" Sometimes you grow up though... I made it to the end of Batman Forever, and have tried twice with & Robin, but it ain't happening.

(Funny, I was just in the thread; "Worst Movie in Your Collection" and these two are so bad, I forgot I owned them. I might go back and edit!)

But I think I missed a lot. Every time you guys mention a scene, or sub-plot, I can't remember it. The day after seeing it I had to come here to ask how Bane died. I simply couldn't remember. I think I was so bored that I was sitting there thinking about Star Wars or something.

So yes, a re-watch is definitely in order. If it's still crap, hey, three crap Batman films on the shelf is better than two!

Haven't seen part 1 yet, so I'm waiting 'til Blu to watch them both.

Did I offend you? I thought my post was quite diplomatic, with some additional humour about me being one of few who didn't enjoy the film. That's how it was meant to feel... sorry...

I just watched Batman Begins between my last post and this one. Good film.

On their FAQ section it says this...

We are a UK company that supplies US DVDs, HD-DVDs and Blu-rays primarily to the United Kingdom. We can also supply customers in the United States and the rest of the world.

So it looks like they now deliver to America as well.

Please report back on the PQ, i.e. is there any EE within the 35mm elements and how do the IMAX shot scenes look?

Cheers .

No Maximum Movie mode on the film disc or any other extra features, just a second screen app, just watching the stock exchange sequence, the IMAX footage looks fantastic.
