Why is that a sad thing? That allows collectors to actually be able to acquire the pieces they want without spending ridiculous prices on the secondary market. I see nothing wrong with that at all.

The issue is that those who bought the originals now lost monetary value on the figures they own. Not saying that you're trying to make money on every figure you buy, but it does help to justify spending hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars on a 12" long product.

Other than being a fan of a character, actor, artist, or product the other main reason to justify the prices was that these figures were in LIMITED quantities. With that no longer being the case, you are now losing money the moment you make the purchase. This is an extreme luxury item in a niche market that only a few can afford, let alone justify these expensive purchases.

I do agree that the secondary market has gotten ridiculous. (ie, HT Hans and Chewie set) However, I really doubt these companies are "helping the consumer" to get the figures they wanted. At the same time, I can't blame them. They have to make money too. It's a double-edged sword and the market is dictating the price. Can't argue with the trend.

Hi guys!

So I finally decided to get my very first Hot Toys action figure! I got the armored Batman, however, I ran into some trouble ordering it. It turns that Sideshow Collectibles has a really painful ordering system if the shipping address is different than the billing address.

While I'm dealing with that, I am left thinking that I should probably order the second figure that I want from a different store. Unfortunately, that other figure just had to be the Knightmare Batman. And I googled to find another store that sells him and I couldn't find one. Does anyone here know a website that sells this figure? Preferably a store that uses PayPal, and it doesn't matter which country the store is located in. I would like to deal with this in the safest way possible and avoid another email frenzy with Sideshow Collectibles.

It was an exclusive, I think Sideshow would be your only option for a US retailer and it's probably much pricier outside of there on ebay, etc

Basically the shipping address needs to be the same as the billing address for the order to go through without any forms or anything..

Since I moved back to my home country a couple of months ago, I had to resort to using a forwarding address system in the US. Which meant that the shipping and billing addresses would never be the same. Honestly, you just have to fill out a form, send them a picture of your card and ID with pretty much everything blacked out except for the last 4 digits of the card and you're set. Although in my case right now, they charged me with the wrong expiration date on the card, so they have to run it again. I hope that everything goes through well cause I can't find Knightmare batman anywhere other than them and Popcultcha.
