I went through this when I had to change my card, last year. Since I'm from the US I was unable to call, so had to use their messaging system to work it out.
I see you are in the UK, so you might be able to call, and if not, then definitely message them. Just to be on the safe side, as I suspect your orders would get cancelled.

When it's time to ship those preorders, they'll send you an email saying there was a payment problem and you'll have the chance to update the card info then (but you'll have to do it for each individual order).

This is what the email looks like (got it recently because they postponed the Wreck It Ralph steel by a month and my credit card had expired in the meantime):
Quote:

Your Order: xxxxxxxxx

Please login to your account and update your credit card details or alternatively contact one of our customer service colleagues on 0844 264 0702 and they will be happy to help resolve this issue.

What basketb says below is accurate.

I've had it happen with a "security protection cancelled credit card" situation and a Zavvi order. However, you have to keep in mind that this has to be done for each individual order placed with the old card information at the time of shipping. So, for example, if you placed 20 orders with the old card, you will have to update your credit card info 20 times (or more for multiple shipments per order). Updating 1 order does not apply to all orders.

They're overdoing it with the Steelbook releases now. Any old film is getting one, with thrown together artwork to match. I wish they'd make more effort to make them special, like they used to.

I have to agree with you... Well said!

It is starting to get out of hand... i mean i appreciate all the steel books being released but i think some of the films they get the steel book treatment is just crazy and stupid...

That is why i am very selective on which steel books i buy and add to my collection... i make sure i know i like the film and it deserves a steel book treatment!

If you don't want a certain film in steel form, then don't buy it.

The trailer was enough to convince me not to waste any time with it.

What do you mean 'will'? This was released years ago, it is simply an old listing that has reappeared after being out of stock for ages. I don't think Zavvi have any stock, it's just one of those 'features' of the Zavvi website shall we say.

So Zavvi does not refund postage when you receive a damaged item? What the hell?

It's always been like that. That is why I like it when the SB's aren't Zavvi exclusives haha. And yeah it sucks.

This was originally a HMV exclusive, wasn't it? I picked it up for about £12 back in the day.
