Well, unfortunately your description is pretty spot on. Here is a link to another prior arrest record:

My order has been stuck in one location for 5 days now according my tracking info. But the weird thing is it has 3 different status updates in that location. Two of them state "processed through usps sort facility"; one for the 18th and one for the 20th.

I called the post office and they said it sounds like my package is "looping" the same sort facility. Kill me now.

My copy from Family Video came in today. Super fast considering I ordered it last Wednesday. Can't wait to dig into this tonight.

Slightly off topic (but still relevant), did anyone pick up the book On Location In Blairstown that was released on the 13th?

Is it just a retread of Making Friday The 13th, or is there enough new material in there to justify a purchase?

I bought the book when it came out for $40 and some change. If I like what I see in the documentary maybe I will buy it.

I'm actually planning on buying the box set. I just don't wanna wait a month to get the documentary.

Ummm, good for you? I never bought the book. Perhaps I can find it at a book store and demand that they give it to me since I already bought the documentary?

i got it first day release from amazon. it's a pretty good book, but nothing new really. the same drawings as the other FT13 books, same stories, but there is a script in this one. a script of camera work. of you're a die hard fan(as i am) i say buy it, if not, then don't.

Default Anyone prefer the bonus disc?

I actually like the bonus disc (which runs 4 hours and 20 minutes) better than the main doc. I don't think that will be the case for most, but if you've already read the CLM book the main doc focuses largely on what you've already read. I learned a lot more about the franchise from the 4 hour bonus disc than I did from the 7 hour main doc.

A few of the people on the bonus disc that didn't make the cut on the regular CLM doc:

A bunch of writers (including Brannon Braga, of Star Trek fame) who were hired to do drafts of Freddy vs. Jason. Some interesting stories there and would have been nice to have this included, as FvJ was the top grossing film of either franchise (if you don't adjust for inflation) and sort of got the shaft in the doc proper.

Julianna Guill (Bree in the 2009 remake). Or was she in the regular doc? If she was, I somehow blanked it out because when I saw her in this I was all, "Woah! I forgot about her!"

The composer of parts 7 & 8 and the guy who did the music for every episode of the Friday the 13th TV show (and there is much more about the show on the bonus disc than there was on the doc proper).

And ... surprise of all surprises ... Monica Keena has some interesting things to say about FvJ and doesn't spend the entire time making stupid jokes and being annoying. She's pretty informative and I'd be curious to know the editing choices that went into just putting the "I wuv Jason" type "humor" she gave in the doc proper. I found her grating in the doc proper and really likeable on the bonus disc.

Anyway, despite all the annoyances with shipping and delays and constantly changing info. re: the doc, I am very glad I ordered through the official site because I really enjoyed the "bonus disc" and think it added quite a lot to the documentary. There's also a creepy little feature where Tom McLoughlin takes us through a stroll of the cemetery where he wrote F13 VI ... a stroll that ends at his final resting place (you can't make this stuff up).

So there. I said something positive.

How could you miss that girl in the regular doc??? She's a hottie! She didn't really add much to the REMAKE section, but she was there.

Glad to hear I wasn't the only one that thought VS section seemed to get the shaft. It was far better on the Never Sleep Again doc.

My copy arrived this morning with no import charge. I ordered from the official site: http://crystallakememories.net/

I had the bonus disc in a slipcover and it slots nicely into the case. No need to mod the case or get an alternative 5-disc case for me.

I really don't understand snail mail sometimes. How is it that people overseas are getting their copies before I do?

I went ahead and placed another order through CLM due to my shipping fiasco. My original order was due on the 20th and has been sitting in the same location for 6 days now. I have a feeling I may be a victim of mail fraud. Does anyone know what happens if I DON'T get my original order? Am I just out $30?

Is there a support group for this type thing.
