One of the cursed Labyrinthes I made has a female hunter in the very beginning who drops about 70k. When I equipped one of the runes that gives more blood echoes she drops 80k. I tried equipping the two runes that give you more blood echoes when you eviscerate someone and she dropped 200k a kill. Sadly my reflexes suck so I've never been good at parrying.

I always found one shot deaths to be real cheese if you ask me. With the souls games it's usually the big big bosses that do that and most of the time the camera is so messed up in those boss fights it gets annoying so yeah co-op for sure...WHY NOT?!?!

The only boss I didn't mind one-shotting me was Vendrick because I knew it was coming but failed to dodge. When that didn't work Havel's Shield +5 put a stop to it

Most recommendations for beginners are for the axe and getting your HP up. I followed that advice, but I think it was a mistake. It works for normal enemies, but up against bosses, the extra health doesn't seem to matter since they can kill you extremely fast regardless, and most are too fast for the axe. My natural play style is to be cautious, but the game specifically rewards aggression. I'm not really sure which of the other 2 starting weapons you should choose, but I would go with the fastest one that still gets you some reach. When I got a sword and started investing in just Skill and Strength, the game got a lot easier. I can still be killed instantly by things (like those damn rock throwing pricks), but I'm in far fewer situations where I get stun-locked into oblivion.

My advice is to spread out or upgrades over health, stamina, attack and defense. Don't just focus on one.

I started with the axe and am very happy I did. Awesome weapon.

OMFG!!!

On my secondary character on first playthrough and that piece of S*** Laurence the first Vicar is so damn cheap. I'm only lvl 103 and it still takes me forever to find help and that guy is near impossible to solo. When he's on the last half of his health and he's crawling around just about all of his attacks prevent you from getting in close. You basically have to trade hits just to get attacks in. They went a bit too far with this *******.

This worries me. I beat Bloodborne without nearly as much trouble as I expected, but bought Dark Souls 2 a few months later and got crruushhedd...I beat a single boss the entire time I played it.

I know I'm not a particularly good Bloodborne player, so I'm worried I'm going to get stomped in the Old Hunters as well.

I still have not played this the 1st time through, think it is tough as hell,but it's one of my favorite games. Going to get back into it and try to finish it. Then I will try the new content.

Honestly the DLC is ruthless, the main game is a joke compared to some of the bosses/enemies in it

Yeah it can be ridiculous at times. I'm going through the Chalice Dungeons on my secondary character and I forgot just how much of a rage inducing ******* the Abhorrent Beast is.

Ugh. It says it's been deleted from server. I wish you could just upload it again. If this helps, it's not a Root dungeon so it shouldn't be random. It's Cursed Pthumeru Ihyll and the additional rites are all 3. Fetid Offering, Rotted Offering and Curse. If you make that dungeon it should be the same layout.

Words cannot express how much I hate Laurence the first Vicar. I have no choice but to go it alone as I am not a plus subscriber. I've been trying for two days on NG+ and still have been unable to beat him. It's to the point now I'm not even really having fun trying, but dammit I've come this far, I'm not quitting now.

I reached the final boss(?) the old guy with the ballsack, couldn't do it in a few tries, so had to go to bed, will try again later

the final area 'Fishing Hamlet' reminded me of Demon's Souls' Valley Of Defilement

I am back to 100% on Bloodborne.

I am no great Bloodborne player but I did not have any problems with Laurence the first Vicar. I not watched the video attached above but when he was crawling around. I just wait outside of his reach of his big arm and try to bait him into using his small arm. After his small arm attack he takes a few seconds to recover and I jump in hit him once or twice and jump back out again. If he started to push me up against a wall I run past him to the other side and again try to bait him to us his smaller arm to attack.

I was probable just lucky. I beat him on my third try.

The final boss entirely different story. He was really tough and aggressive. I say he is the best boss of the whole game. A good challenge even for multiple players. His second phase is a real beast and for me took some luck to beat him.

If you still haven't found Laurence, the last Vicar he's at the very top of the staircase in the beginning level. You need to go back after you receive his head.

The final boss is pretty damn hardcore. One thing that annoys me with this game that I don't find makes it a challenge but is just cheap and lazy developing is how the bosses seem to lock on. They will be in the middle of landing an attack and when you roll their body follows you like it's locked on. When they're halfway into their animation they shouldn't be able to do that, that's just bull s***. That and far too many bosses have ridiculous reach so when they do some kind of swipe it almost hits 360 degrees. On the final bosse's second form, it was so damn hard to get in hits without taking damage every single time.
