I'm trying to get the database updated so that booklets/inserts/books are all listed as "film notes" or something of that sort. I'm sick of tracking down this information and correcting the database errors (some of which are provided by the reviewers themselves). I've even resorted to trying to find unboxing videos for some releases on TikTok to ensure accuracy. ( ![]() As far as I'm concerned, if members want to get specific in the comments field about whether it's staple binding, foldable origami, an 80-page book bound with glue, pages wrapped in Christmas wrapping paper, or the like, that's on them. But "film notes" or something to that extent will get the job done. |

It's still available as part of the Essential Fellini set, and there's a Paramount release. That being said, it seems almost inevitable that the rights will return, the film will get a 4K UHD release, and the BD will also be re-released. ![]() 4K restoration premiering in theaters in August. https://x.com/IndieWire/status/1948020275653521457 From Janus's site: Quote:

A few other western film noirs that I've watched and enjoyed are: "The Furies" with Barbara Stanwyck, Walter Huston, and Judith Anderson (this was also directed by Anthony Mann who did "Winchester '73"); "Forty Guns" also with Stanwyck, Barry Sullivan, and Dean Jagger (directed by Samuel Fuller); and "Pursued" with Robert Mitchum and Theresa Wright. The two Stanwyck films are with Criterion and "Pursued" was released by Olive and I think re-released by Kino.
