Good run on the raid tonight guys. It was a fun learning experience that took lots of teamwork and strategy. My brain hurts and we only made it to the 2nd boss.

By far the coolest thing in Destiny. The level of team work required is quite amazing. I think we did pretty good, big thanks to Jose for showing us around!

If one has a year one Hawkmoon, is it better to buy one from the board or from Xur, if you fancied having one?

I'd say Xur, to buy from the kiosk you have to spend legendary marks to get one.

No problem guys, I also agree that we did very well. For a group of new raiders, it was very smooth and everyone picked up on the mechanics quickly.

Me too, but I just got a sniper rifle - Tao Hua Yuan. Good roll too with Injection mould and Firefly.
Will do for now until I get something near Praedyth's Revenge or P&T

So much for the new and improved loot system. I never farmed the three of coins but I've used a ton of them running strikes and I've gotten probably six exotics and three of them were Obsidian Mind and two were Telesto.

Xur was great when I first started but anyone who has logged any time in this game will always consider Xur disappointing.
