I’m really jealous. Maybe I can win the lottery?

Having full control over how you spend your time is even better than winning the lottery. There are lots of ways to increase wealth, but the amount of time we have remaining only decreases.

I still buy a lottery ticket once in awhile; imagining a big win makes for a fun daydream.

I suffer from social anxiety so each day out in the community drains my battery that little bit more. I have to face it though. If I didn’t, it would be giving up and that’s one long spiral of darkness. Besides, I still have a bit of my mortgage to pay off.

All of our situations are different and we each have our own challenges. Paying off your home will be a big achievement.

When your time is entirely yours, you can be even more involved in your community if you so choose. It is that freedom that I love most.

Seeing two of my three siblings die young is what made up my mind to retire early. I was determined to leave the rat race and to enjoy whatever time I had on my terms.

If someone as entirely ordinary and utterly unremarkable as myself could retire early, so can anyone with the will to do so.

I have six movies due to arrive today; so many days this month have felt a little bit like Christmas.

Sorry to hear about your siblings.

I think the community thing is what puts so much strain on me. Knowing I have to go out in public every day is exhausting. I wouldn’t wish the condition on my worst enemy.

I understand what you mean, and it really does seem to be more of a rat race every year.

Never mind, film is my salvation.

I’m due another batch in a few weeks. 5 VS titles. I’m doing things differently this year due to the lack of new titles from March Onwards. I normally buy a huge batch in the last part of the year.
Still, I’m doing a good job of making up the numbers.

You don't know what humidity is; it sometimes reaches reach triple digits here and when you add in our delightful 90+% humidity, you get a real steamy serving of hell on Earth.

When I watch something, I much prefer that it look, and sound, "Fantastic!"

That video is over 21 minutes long; I don't have the attention span to watch it. Besides, I'm still enjoying bhampton's pizza.

Maybe the heat clouds your judgement and that’s why you think Digital looks great?

So it was 102 in some parts of the SF Bay Area barely inland on Tuesday. For San Jose airport it hit 97 which broke the 1896 record of 95 for May 26. It was in the high 90’s for three days. Utah not exactly the coolest areas. But Death Valley is usually toasty, with 117 today.

Yeah heat is making streaming look a lot better, must be a mirage.

And this little documentary about Dracula starring none other than Christopher Lee; forum member CV19 should like this one:

Regal Owner Cineworld Expects to Reopen Cinemas in July, Boosts Liquidity - Hollywood Reporter - 5/28

Quote:
Exhibition giant Cineworld, which owns the Regal circuit in the U.S., said Thursday it expects to reopen its cinemas in July and received a waiver from its lenders on a debt covenant amid the novel coronavirus pandemic. It also raised additional liquidity, saying that would allow it to make it through the end of the year.

Lenders "agreed to waive the leverage covenant in respect of its credit facility for the June 2020 testing date and has increased its leverage covenant to 9.0x net debt to EBITDA for the December 2020 testing date," the firm said.

The company also agreed the terms of $110 million of additional liquidity through an increase in its revolving credit facility. In addition, Cineworld said it "has secured credit committee approval to apply for an additional $45 million through [a] loan scheme in the U.K. and expects shortly to commence a process to access $25 million through the U.S. government CARES Act."

The company concluded: "Cineworld expects that this additional liquidity, to the extent required, will provide it with sufficient headroom to support the group even in the unlikely event cinemas remain closed until the end of the year."

Cineworld anticipates that government restrictions related to cinemas will be lifted in each of its territories by July and "anticipates the reopening of all of its cinemas in July." It said it "has put in place procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable cinema experience for its employees and customers."

Cineworld also said it was "excited by the great movie lineup to follow the reopening of cinemas, starting with the highly anticipated new Chris Nolan movie Tenet and immediately after that with Mulan."
