Again? Michigan St. is 8-0. They'll probably lost @ Iowa next week though.

Wow and I don't know, Iowa's looking a little chinked in the armor here against the Badgers.

Auburn's Cam Newton is probably the most underrated QB in the country. Definately at or near the top of the Heisman list.

Longhorns almost came back and made a game of it but still lost 28-21. Sorry, Longhorns fans!

The Big East is just terrible this year. Every team already has at least 2 losses and right now Pittsburgh is the only undefeated in-conference with an overall record of 4-3. And the Big East gets an automatic BSC invite.

Nice typo, wondering right now if there's going to be a let-down by Wisconsin after that emotional upset win over Ohio State.

Damn Texas is 4-3 now and some tough games yet to come. They could easily lose 5 or more games this year. Mack Brown can probably get a pass for this one really bad season but he better turn things around by next year or his job will be in trouble. Winning a national title gets you a little breathing room, but not much at a program like Texas.

underrated? not even close, he's been getting lots of love for a few weeks now. if by underrated you mean other teams underestimating him, possibly, but the media has been on board for weeks. and since tuesday, he has been the heisman front runner according to espn, which isn't going to change anytime soon.

Considering the schedule Auburn has played so far and gona 8-0 they should be ranked ahead of Boise St. I'll bet somehow the voters still rank them behind them though.

Every time Tennessee plays this year they play a good first have and either stay close or have the lead. Then they have a huge meltdown in the 3rd quarter and get blown out.

These celebration penalties are getting out of hand. Pretty soon if a player takes a knee after scoring a touchdown for religious purposes, they will get flagged.

I wish they would. I get so sick of that nonsense.

Wow Mizzou leads Oklahoma 29-21 with 7 min left in a battle of Big 12 undefeated teams. Looking like an upset.

EDIT - Missouri took a 36-21 lead with 6:30 left. Looks like the upset is gonna happen.

Lets osu back in for a title shot I told you 10 wasn't far enough with LSU losing and now Oklahoma they will be back in the top 5 before you know it.

They have a small opening now. I still don't believe Auburn will run the table with a tough remaining schedule. Missouri's remaining schedule is quite weak. They have a shot at going undefeated.

So much for Chad being sure that Mizzou wouldn't beat Oklahoma.

Ya, I really didn't take them serious but they looked really good against Oklahoma. Next week is really Missouri's only tough game left. If they can win that one they could go into the Big 12 title game undefeated.

The number of undefeated teams is down to seven. Though seven is still high for this late in a season:

Oregon (7-0)
Boise St. (6-0) - Barring a miracle they will go undefeated
Auburn (8-0) - BRUTAL schedule. They still have to play Ole Miss, Georgia, @Alabama and win an SEC title game to run the table. Unlikely.
TCU (8-0) - One team, either Utah or TCU will go undefeated depending on who wins head to head @ Utah
Utah (7-0)
Michigan St. (8-0) - If they beat Iowa next week they could run the table and go 12-0
Missouri (7-0) - Good chance of going undefeated if they beat Nebraska next week

And how about my school UCF? Another blowout win beating Rice 41-14 to improve to 5-2. Next week is a battle to determine which team is the best in Conference USA's Eastern Division when East Carolina plays @ UCF. Still aggravating UCF lost nailbiters to NC St. and Kansas St., otherwise we'd be 7-0. And we have a freshman QB starting too.

Those rankings are exactly how I'd put them. And as far as 1-loss teams go Alabama is likely the team that could run the table and slip into a national title game if enough undefeated teams fall.

As far as liklihood of going undefeated (regular season) goes I'd give the 7 teams left these odds. I'd be very surprised if more than one majot conference team runs the table.

Boise St. - 80%
TCU - 60%
Utah - 35%
Oregon - 35%
Michigan St. - 25%
Missouri - 20%
Auburn - 15% - just too tough of a schedule, which will catch up with them
