Silent Scream Emblem

Easy Glitch for Emblem
At the 1 minute mark I jumped over the wall to the other area and was able to take out the Ultra Knight for the Silent Scream Emblem. I ran it a total of 3 times and got an exotic helmet on my 2nd run while using the Three of Coins.

Today after work as I was getting ready to take a shower, I noticed my wife's purple shampoo container and first thought was "Legendary"

so scheduling is always a ***** for me.

I want to throw this out there and see if there are any takers.

Would anybody be down for a "breakfast" raid tomorrow morning? Organize at around 6am and work through the raid as far as we can in 2 hours, out by 8am to head to work.

Masochistic, maybe. But it's easier for me to carve away guaranteed uninterrupted time in the morning than in the afternoon or evening.

No problem. I finished a bit early, or I would have missed you. Yeah, the reward was just okay. Higher light than the helmet I had, but not enough to make a difference overall. For what it's worth, the entire day was a bust. I got loads of engrams today, and not much of anything good out of them.

In my experience, with most groups, if you are late, you can lose your spot, and everyone starts checking their roster for guys at the right level.

How long were you on the wagon? It's still the Destiny grind and RNG; it's just disguised better now.

That paragraph I wrote was a bit sarcastic, but held a bit of truth at the same time.

Hey, so how does this light level effect damage dealt and received? It used to be that if you were level -1, you did only about 2/3 damage, and if you were -2 you did only about 1/2 damage, and you never did more than 1/1 damage, even if you were overlevel (which is very effective in maintaining balance). You did -1 damage at level -3, which is, of course, zero. I don't get the impression that this has changed at all. If you are level 40 you still do 1/1 to level 40 and lower enemies, 2/3 to 41s and 1/2 to 42s. And that factor of 1, 2/3 or 1/2 is applied to the damage value of your weapon.

They've just made it such there is no more level envy, and instead you are searching for weapons and gear that are good enough to overcome your damage deficit and damage (received) penalty. You know what I mean; a weapon with a damage value of 310 (is that the max?) against a level 42 enemy probably deals the equivalent of a value 280 weapon against a level 40 enemy. I can't test this out yet. Level 40, light 280 is probably the equivalent to level 28 at launch.

Well some of the Raid gear doesn't have good perks, so it can be infuse fuel.

Or because with Oryx, if you have the mechanics nailed down nothing can really go wrong. Unlike with Crota where even doing it flawless something can still happen and mess you up.

I don't know if anyone in here can answer this or not but I'm going to ask anyways.

I've got an exotic engram that is armor class sitting in my vault. So if I wait until I'm 300 to decode it will it be higher as well? Or it doesn't matter I picked it up and I was 289 light so is it going to be 290 no matter what? I'm currently 293 but if I decode it now I'd imagine it'd be 290 for sure.

Just a thought.

It'll be 290 for sure. Possibility of it being 310 if you wait until 300. I know, because I held some engrams in reserve when I was 299.

So you're saying just open them when you get them if you are in the 290's?

Cool, I'll hang on to it and give it a try once I get to 300.

Also are people spamming the hell out of this in raids?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fWW...ature=youtu.be

I'm sure it'll be fixed soon, just curious as I have not done a Raid yet.

Other way would have been too hard, guys were dropping 30 seconds after we started. Adds would have eaten them alive in the middle. Dont think we had any bubbles either.

Exotic engrams have a chance of being 310 if you decide them when your light is 300 or above. Below 300, they'll always decode at 290.

it helps to stay in or near the spawn room to help funnel enemies. also helped that i put on nighthawk for the 30,000 dmg shot
