This whole credit thing is ridiculous. Even more ridiculous is the fact that 3 of the top brass sold 1.8 million in the companies stocks a few days after the breach and the company says those 3 had "had no idea about the breach". They need to be put on trial immediately. That infuriates me.

I actually still have free "so called monitoring" from a different security breach. I also have free monitoring through AAA. I'm not so much worried about new credit accounts but the other problems this presents. Things such as taxes, crimes committed under my identity, etc. Monitoring only checks for new credit accounts. A service like Lifelock monitors supposedly everything which is what Equifax should be paying for.

Equifax is just using this as an opportunity to add to the client base for their credit monitoring service. At this point, I am not sure how much I trust Equifax and their services.

Luckily we were one of the few who didn't lose power. Kids were scared until they fell asleep. I couldn't sleep though until the eye of the storm had passed us since it went just left of us and we got the strongest part of it when it passed. Was afraid the Trampoline was going to go bye bye but I secured it enough to stay in place. Saw our fence rocking back and forth and thought it was gonna go but didn't either. Only real damage we had was it tore about a dozen pool screens. And about a million leaves along with downed branches to cleanup in the backyard and in the pool.
