Bummer. The prologue is where it's really too clear. The rest of the movie is not as bad, but the video online where someone compared the prologue pre-release with the final release really shows how bad the final mix in the prologue is.

Whenever somebody gets the cowl editions could you please take pics? I want to see how the disks are arranged in it. Still jealous of everybody with the bd already!

This is what happens when the internet *****es about something. It was fine in the prologue as it was. But, because everyone made a big stink about, Nolan went almost extreme the other way....

I think it's still fine but it's overpowering in the prologue.

Foreign copies are always like that. They also don't regularly have combo packs. Rest assured, the U.S./Canada release won't have any of that printed on the case and will include a dvd.

Looking at those screencaps just makes me wish more and more that WB would go back and redo the transfer for The Dark Knight.

What's wrong with TDK transfer? I'm no videophile or anything but I think TDK looks amazing. The detail and clarity on TDK seems to actually look better than those TDKR screen caps.

This question may have been asked before but; which version are you guys getting? We know this'll be amazing in EVERY way. Im getting every edition including normal set, cowl, trilogy, steelbook and 1 Target exclusive (I cant decide between Bane or Batman).

Not really, most these days have ratings stickers, or cardboard ratings cards that go over the case, but the actual steelbook is free of ratings

I believe the Target Digibook is lenticular so you won't have to choose between Bane or Batman. It's will have both at the flick of the wrist.

The first and second caps look blurry.

I also never really noticed how god awful the color scheme is until I watched it again at the dollar theater. It's too golden. Everyone looks like they have liver disease.

Really? WHy are they listed as two different items then?

And which one's are you planning to buy?

Hmmm. Maybe I'm wrong. It is odd that they are listed as two different items.

I was going to get the Target Digibook but I'm going with the general release. The only reason being is that I will hopfully get it early.

Edit: Thanks for the confirmation on the Target lenticular Digibook MifuneFan!

Do you guys mean listed twice in the database here? If so, that's an error since many thought there were 2 books inititally. One of the database entries should be deleted

At first it was. And every site has it listed as two different things.
