Noticing the back-side of my hair. It feels so full. I could have sworn I trimmed it last weekend. Well, I am too lazy to trim it again; I will wait for next weekend.

Ladies in leggings. They seem to be quite popular these days and I'm all the happier for it

In December 2020 my crypto buddy told me to drop $1k on shiba coin.

Instead I took my $1k and went to the casino and turned it into $1,800 ($800 profit).

Had I put that on Shiba, by my birthday that $1k would have been worth about $2 million. By October it would have been worth around $40 million.

No more casinos. Third time in 15 years I was recommended to buy crypto at really low price and didn't. Bitcoin in 09, Etherium in 2015, and Shiba in 2020.

I seriously need a break I don't know what to do or the answers. I feel powerful like I could destroy the world in one swoop and yet what would that accomplish? I am not hitler and i don't want a massive genocide making me feel abandoned. I need to go with the flow but it has been a long time coming.

The watch collecting bug bit me back in early 2020 and luckily I was able to take it easy after buying 8 watches in about 5 months. But just because I stopped buying watches doesn't mean that I am not interested in buying more watches. I think one of these will probably be my next purchase but I'm not sure when that will be

I've gotten all of the watches at Macy's except for one I bought at Zales which is a jewelry shop here in the States. The watch I bought at Zales actually hasn't been sized yet. You want to buy it?
As for prices, the two Hamiltons are $995 each and the lower left Longines is $1,675 and the second one is $1,850. I've seen the Hamilton brand on sale at Macy's more than I've seen Longines on sale.

I was thinking I would probably go with the Hamilton on the right or the Longines on the left as my next watch.

And I sometimes take certain coincidences as signs and tonight I was watching the movie Big Fish for the first time and there is a scene when Ewan McGregor's character parachutes out into the Korean War and right before he does, he checks his watch and it's a Hamilton Khaki so that must be telling me something

You mean those sleek black tights that gym rats wear? Personally, I think it's a step back for women. They're wearing those everywhere these days. It's OK at the gym but while you're bar hopping? Taking your kids to school? I get that they're comfy - they're just not very classy. Just my opinion.

That's a bit much for me. My watches are usually in the $300 - $450 range, other that the Timex ones I use at work.

A long time ago when I was young and wild, I bought a Tag Heuer at a pawn shop for a great price. I lost it after partying too long and being at places I shouldn't have been. I knew Tag were expensive and after some time I wanted to get an idea of what it was worth. I walked in to the jewelry store, saw three Tags and the cheapest one was $1750. I was immediately angry, walked out and swore I'd never have an expensive watch again.
I'm a much different person now, but I still can't buy watches like that.
I admire that you can and do. It's great having nice things.

I surmise that the 'dress to impress' attitude and attempt has gone out the window.

I had this feeling yesterday - all that I had going through my head was the lyrics to the Travis song "Last Train"

I mean ones like these. You're right about them wearing them everywhere. I don't think they should be worn to the office but I can see why women would wear them most places if they're comfortable. I never got girls in baggy sweat pants though. That seems to stick out in my mind from when I was younger. I will admit that I probably spend more time in sweats than I should. I can't remember the last time that I wore anything but sweats on my day off. Wearing Adidas sweatpants as I type this

These are the leggings I was referring to

Oh even your $300-$450 price range is nowhere near what my original budget was. Forgive the length of this post When I decided to get a new watch back in late '19/early '20, I figured I would do like I had always done and go to one of the department stores at the mall and get my $75-$100 Fossil, Relic, whatever.

Well I started looking on Macy's website and they have an incredible selection of watches. So my budget went from $75 to $100 up to $500 and then even up to $750. I ended up getting a Bulova that was on sale for like $300 something. What I like about Macy's is that they often have, besides sales, promo codes that can get you additional savings.
I bought nine watches in total, with one being for someone else, and they were all on sale at the time. I'm not a savvy shopper but I am a stingy shopper

Last thing about two of my best deals. One night I was at my friend's restaurant and he was on the phone and I think he said sales but I heard Zales so that made me pop onto their site. I found a Mido that I had been interested in. Normal retail was $1,010 but they had it on sale for $505. I add it to the cart and to my surprise, the price was now $404. Apparently there was an additional 20% taken off so that was nice.

And then my most expensive watch ended up not being the one that I paid the most for. I had my eye on this nice Raymond Weil that retailed at $2,090. Again, Macy's with their promo codes...over one weekend, I'm going back and forth and I end up not ordering one by Sunday evening. The watch that I was interested in was 25% off. Well the next day I decide to check the watch again and see if that promo code is still active. Even better than the 25% off, it was 50% off so I pulled the trigger and that was the last watch that I bought

I dislike leggings. It's the perfect example of how lazy people have gotten with their fashion. Women used to dress so much nicer. Notice that you almost never see leggings in movies and TV shows. Yeah, butts are nice, I know, but I wouldn't be seen dead wearing a pair of those in public without a skirt or long top over if I were a woman. No style.

I'm of two... Three minds... When it comes to the dressings...
One: dress nice! Make yourself look presentable.
Two: if you're gonna show off your ... Assets... Don't be offended when I look
Three, if you wear next to nothing, why bother with clothes at all?
