If I had a Blu-ray reader that could read 4K discs (and knew how to do photo editing well), I would screen capture one of these scenes from the disc. I would keep the back of the sleeve with mostly the same text, but remove the alien from there as well.

Over at EuphoricFX, an artist called topmeasure did a fantastic Alien cover using that front for Blu-ray, perhaps he will 4K it for you on request. Also FastFizzy over there has some great BD covers as well.

Forbidden Planet (1956)

Stepping away from Godzilla for a moment.... For this smaller project, I did a rebuild of the front cover based on the original one-sheet with the studio back receiving a light edit to match the front's lighter pallet.

Both are WIP. Never tried doing this before but it looked like fun. Probably a lot of mistakes. Any constructive feedback is welcomed.

These look good, for WIPs. On the It cover, I would try and blend the image of Pennywise on the back more with the background, or make some kind of border around it. As for the Shutter Island cover, make sure to not let the image get squashed when resizing. It may not hurt to add a border around both images as well. Also, adding the cast listing to the back may help with some of the blank space you have between the synopsis and Special Features listing. They are great starts and I can't wait to see the finished covers. Keep working at it.

For the back of the IT cover, i got lazy and used the back of the actual 4K release

Unfortunately, my computer crashed earlier and i lost my files on the 3 i was working on

I did manage to upload the 3rd WIP for Prince of Darkness to imgur. It's a little deflating, but i have no choice to start from scratch. Thanks again for the kind words
