It is what it is. I don't feel anything for it. It just exists. I'm sure it'll be somewhat entertaining but I'm in pass mode right now.

No likeable characters, not funny, generic action. I'll probably pass. Bet it will be a hit with the critics though, this is how they like their hero films.
I don't know what you ate this morning ... But this looks just like 2.5 metric tons of pure fun and action to me.
To each their own I suppose.

To be honest, I usually find the films in the Marvel Universe to be generic and "pass" material. That is an unpopular opinion in its own, but Guardians of The Galaxy looks to be the first Marvel film I may truly love since the first Iron Man. (I haven't seen Captain America: The Winter Soldier yet) Not only looks entertaining, but fresh.

It's amusing how people act like their child has just been insulted.

My interest level is pretty much the same as it was when I watched the first trailer. So, like I said before, looks good but I'll have to see more.

I liked the first trailer when I saw it online. Then I caught it a few times in the theater and realized this could be an unmitigated disaster(the silence from the crowds didn't help). Not saying it will be. In fact, I admire Marvel having the stones to make this movie, but it's so bizarre and out there that I don't know how audiences are going to react.

This second trailer hasn't really changed my opinion. I'm curious to see how it turns out, but I wouldn't be surprised if it wound up being a crappy movie.

I'm super excited for this ... loved seeing the Collector in the first trailer that means it will tie in with Thor and the action looks great in the second trailer ... I dont know too much about these characters so I will possibly be able to enjoy this movie more so than some of the others ... Heres to hoping for some awesome 3D in this one!!!!!!

I'm going to make a bold prediction and say GOTG will surpass TWS in terms of awesomeness!

The trailers have me pumped.

I know nothing of comics, was never a comic book fan. This just looks like a fun space adventure flick though. I can't wait.

Kudos to Marvel for taking a risk with this one. I think they know that some will love it and some won't and that they are awesome for putting it out there anyways for the ones they know want to see it.

The trailer didn't get me any more excited to see this, but I think this movie itself will be awesome.

Ben Davis did the cinematography for this and is doing Avengers: Age of Ultron.

GOTG looks gorgeous and colorful, so I think it's pretty easy to assume AOU is going to pop as well.

As for how the movie is going to perform - I think it's going to do well. Not a billion and below CA: TWS numbers, but it will be a success. We have to remember that Iron Man, Cap, and Thor were "nobodies" at one time, too. They weren't well-known to the general audience and now look at them.

We also have to factor in the Marvel Studios brand, which people are aware of.

If it gets good reviews and good word of mouth (and I do think the reviews will be good), that will also help it.

You add the cast, plus the originality/creativity/freshness, plus the lack of too much real competition... should do pretty well. Like The Avengers, looks like there's something in this film for everyone. You can market it to both the comic book fans, the average movie goer, and kids. Kids are gonna eat up Rocket and Groot stuff.

I think, much like Star Wars, people will overlook how "out there" it is if you give them a good movie and a good time. You make it fun -- and this looks fun as hell -- you give them a ride, good, colorful characters to care about, big action and special effects and things they haven't seen before? Audiences are gonna show up.
