i also came across a fountain in one of hte hintertomb dungeons where you can purchase a bunch of the uncanny/lost weapons ... thats kinda strange
Did you happen to have any of those uncanny/lost weapons before hand? I ask because when you get normal weapons in the main game they show up in the Hunter's Dream to buy in case you ever accidentally sell the original.

I'm wondering if with that last patch or the DLC they added that fountain to make it easier to get the uncanny/lost weapons. Kind of sucks because I went online awhile back to find a chart that showed which dungeons to look up for each of those weapons. I have all of them on my main.

i wonder if there is anyone who has every single weapon maxed out in this game yet ??

i needto get a blood rock somehow i missed it in mensis on my first time through so i still dont have a maxed out weapon yet

I don't think it's possible to get every weapon maxed out. You can only get two bloodrocks per run through. 1 from the main game and the second was part of the DLC. Then you factor in you can only run through the game 7-8 times. Let's say 8 times because I can't remember if the game goes up to NG++++++ or NGx7. If we go by 8 run throughs including your initial one that's only 16 Blood Rocks. I think they should have let us obtain some in the Dungeons. Maybe only from the one boss you need for the trophy. The woman in white who had the baby, forgot her name.

Damn do you mean the new weapons, their variations aren't in the fountain?
I thought they were with the new patch. When 1.08 came out I stumbled into a Hindertomb dungeon and the messenger there had all of them from the Beast to the Whirilsaw. I was going to take note of it but then when I came back my fountain had all the weapons? so it wasn't that patch? They were there on my end because I found them in game? I can buy ALL the weapons from my main fountain.

Is that Strat guide the old one before the patch? If so, I'm surprised I never came across any posts or Youtube videos over the past number of months with people showing which dungeons they found Blood Rocks in. I know you can farm Blood Chunks though. I was farming those fighting Ebrietas for awhile. I have about 4 weapons +10 and pretty much everything else is at +6 or higher. Yeah, I spent way too much time on this game.

Apparently the new patch lets you buy the alternate weapons in the dungeons instead of having to search for all of them. When I did it the old way, by searching, once you aquire them they show up in the Hunter's Dream for purchase just like the traditional weapons.

Well, after I finish FFVII I think I'll jump back into Bloodborne and look up which dungeons people have made where they found some in. I'm stupid silly like that and if I have nothing else to play I might try to get at least all of the normal weapons to plus 10.

Ok then that's why I came across them. I knew I should have kept the gylph handy. I thought it was a post patch thing.

Even if they had a place to farm bloodrock you need 16 chunks per weapon. Would take forever to get all those chunks...farming or not.

Bloodrock are usually in coffins and when you get them the first time they will no longer be there the second time you check that dungeon.

My attack with the Holy Blade is something like 950+ DMG.

Is there a better weapon then that in Hunters?

I can't remember if it's damage is higher but I really love the Whirligig Saw. Got that baby to +10 and I love hitting an enemy or boss with the charge attack.

Edit: Just found this video and as long as you don't get knocked away after your first hit, this weapon is pretty awesome.

Cool.

I'm kinda glad I have to repeat everything up until the church. Need practise with the controls. I'm gonna solo the bosses.

That video I posted he has in the title "OP"(over powered). I don't think it is at all, especially with how ridiculous some of the new DLC bosses are. From Software better not nerf that thing.

Eh, that first DLC boss, The First Vicar is ridiculously OP himself when trying to fight him without any help. With no other people to help distract him he's on your ass the entire time, stunlock is fair against that one as far as I'm concerned.

im sure the reasoning was that by this point so many players would be so overpowered themselves from playing it for a year that the things had to be tougher ....

Now to explore.

I am proud to say I finally beat Laurence the first vicar solo on NG+. I have no idea how many times I fought him, but it had to be over 50. It seemed like 100. Now the only thing left that I haven't beaten is the Old Hunters final boss Orphan of Kos. If he's anything like Laurence, and from what I've been told he is, then I thoroughly dread playing him.
