Hey everyone. I was wondering if there's any advice any of the folks here could give in cover design and finding resources for things like, certain textures and neat aesthetics to add for cpvers you might feel you wanna go for in an all out custom design through and through?

This is a WiP as I have been unable to find accurate secs for the UHD release. I'll finish it and upload when my copy arrives this week.

I like the first one very much! The second one for me, the title is too low and the picture looks squished.

I posted my WiP for this movie a few days ago and said I'd finish the cover when I got the specs off my copy when it arrived. Well, it arrived and the cover art I was looking to replace is only on the slipcase. The disc sleeve is the exact same art I was using. I've shelved this one.

Does anyone have a Criterion cover for Chungking Express? Desperately looking for one. I have the digipack and am wanting to put it in a standard plastic Criterion case.

For the sake of accuracy, "I Hear You Paint Houses" was the alternate title.

Have you tried emailing their customer service? I know the title is out of print, but they might have a plastic case and artwork in stock. Worth a shot.

Contacted Criterion about a month ago and asked if they could provide a replacement cover and they said they couldn't since it was OOP. Also asked for a cover scan and they couldn't help me.

I have found references that say "I Hear..." and "I Heard...". The book this is based on is "I Heard You Paint Houses". That would appear to be the correct alternate title.

I don't really plan on making this, but I decided to doodle around a bit...
