The next Amber Heard:

Ioan Gruffudd is making Alice Evans keep her distance away from him, after filing a restraining order against her.

According to reports, the 48-year-old actor has filed paperwork for a domestic violence restraining order, which requests that Alice has to stay at least 100 yards away from him and his girlfriend, actress Bianca Wallace.

The restraining order also says that Alice can not be allowed to contact either of them.


In the petition for the restraining order, Ioan says that he’s expressed to Alice that he was “unhappy” in their relationship in August 2020, and added that Alice “repeatedly told me between August 2020 and our separation on January 1, 2021 that if I left her, she would make false public accusations about me, sell false stories about me to the press, and destroy me and my career.”

“Alice told me verbally multiple times that she would do to me what Amber Heard did to Johnny Depp,” he continued. “Alice threatened to tell people I had abused her and our daughters; she threatened to call the police on me if I did not comply with her demands; she threatened to tell people I am a drug addict and put me in prison; she threatened to write a fake diary that reflected an abused victim, and to have the diary published; and she threatened to destroy my mother.”

Ioan concluded, “Alice told me she would win, and everyone would believe her over me.”

The two actors met on the set of 102 Dalmatians and share two daughters together.

After he filed for divorce early last year, Alice has said that Bianca “ruined” her life and also accused Ioan of having affairs for years.

I just popped into the House Of Gucci Blu Ray thread and it made me think about how I think the founder's name of Guccio Gucci is pretty cool. Other names that I think are just cool names are Albert Anastasia and Swedish House Mafia.

I received a shipping email with a UPS tracking number but when I clicked on the link, it sent me to FedEx's site lol So when I checked the tracking on UPS' site, it said it was scanned in New Jersey at 8:22pm tonight and I should get it by tomorrow in California. I don't think that's going to happen but we'll see!

I hate how difficult eBay makes it to combine shipping. The sellers description will clearly state that they allow it or if you message them they'll do it. Adding everything to your cart and then trying to request an invoice only gives you "seller does not combine shipping" notices or "can't combine because seller requires immediate payment". So annoying.

If it's sold on Amazon or Walmart, those companies should cover shipping if the free shipping threshold is met!

I say yes! Enjoy a nice cup of coffee.

Unfortunately, I've had to pretty much stop drinking it completely. Coffee started to give me a weird headache. Not a pain headache but a pressure right between my eyes and behind my eyes.

Stopped drinking coffee and it has gone away. I enjoy the taste of coffee but sadly, it doesn't look like I will be having much for quite some time.

I had to all but completely rid my diet of caffeine a couple of years ago. It happened when I would lay in bed at night and wonder what was shaking the earth. Aftershocks from last weekend's earthquake? Nearby road construction?

It took me a few days before I realized that I was what was shaking. My entire core and legs were shaking inside with internal tremors 24/7. It was only really noticeable when I was stopped and laying down to sleep.

I quit drinking soda after a week of dialing it back slowly. I also cut out (as much as possible) aspartame and maltodextrin, both of which have nasty side-effects...with aspartame also being shown to exacerbate and promote feelings of anxiety and unrest.

Strange, I usually end up with headaches if I don't drink coffee, I assume it's from caffeine withdrawals.

Yikes. I've built up a strong toleration to caffeine so fortunately I never had an issue with the jitters. I also cut out soda and sugary drinks almost 10yrs ago, once in awhile I'll have a lemon or cherry flavored carbonated water to take away the itch for a soda when I get it.

Caffeine withdrawals are real. There was one day when I was stuck at home and I didn't have any soda in the apartment. By nightfall, I was having debilitating headaches, to the point where I was barely able to get to a gas station for some soda for relief. Felt like a true junkie.

You can't just stop cold turkey, but it also shouldn't take you long to wean yourself off caffeine either. I went Day One = Regular Full Amount - Day Two = 3/4 of Day One - Day Three = 1/2 of Day One- and so on. I used to drink basically (at least) a 2-liter of Diet Mountain Dew a day, for years, and I was able to go from that to nothing in one week.

Tolerance is kind of a misnomer with caffeine. There's a lot of literature to pour through, but it's not just about feeling jittery: There's a whole rewiring of your brain and other processes through the body that don't present themselves physically to the user.

I never had jitters per se (internal tremors are not the same), but I had terribly light sleep and depression for years (both linked to and exacerbated by the chemical cocktails in my earlier post)*.

One thing to keep in mind is that the older you get, the slower your body is to metabolize and "burn" off the caffeine in your system...so the effects are more pronounced and obvious to the user then they were when they're younger.




* Quitting caffeine, artificial sweeteners, and limiting sugar has lifted a cloud from me that I wasn't even aware of. My actual life circumstances never changed, and my issues to address are still there, but the absence of those three components and the resulting effect on my emotional well-being was the biggest surprise.

For example, I would like to see blu-rays for movies released from the 1970's and then, ideally, be able to filter by genre.

I have looked around the site for quite some time and I am unable to locate the proper filters. I have never had the desire to do something like this until now. I don't even know if this is the right topic to post this question but hey, it's on my mind.
