I should have known that 'Chat Now' was going to be easier to deal with Sirius/XM in cancelling it, but for a phone 'call back / talk to a representative' wait over an HOUR !! that's insane.

Dang, usually it's the other way around. I find most customer service phone calls are quicker because less people are calling with text and chat options.

Sirius is ridiculous, too. The amount of junk they bombard you with is insane.

I had the service in my car for six months or whatever for free when I bought it. When the sub ran out, I got a mailer saying they want me back for $15 a month for the biggest channel package. But mama ain'tz raise no foo'. I ignored those for a few months and then eventually they sent me an offer of like $5 a month for one year with six months free. LOL

I threw that out, too.

I heard this morning that another Driller on my crew won’t be back.
No loss for me but I sure hope that HR doesn’t take so damn long to replace him.
There’s all kinds of rumours about some Operators that may be leaving in the next couple of months. I hope that The Company can realize and deal with their concerns so that we can still be productive.

Awww yea, I just got another mailer telling me to join up. This is a LIMITED-TIME OFFER with two free bonuses expiring 3/31/2022.

$5 per month for the first twelve months
"Free upgrade" to the Platinum Plan (this is not really a "free bonus" because this is actually normal price)
A free Echo Dot (4th Generation)

I am slightly intrigued at this point. Slightly. They get dinged a little bit for lying about the free upgrade to the Platinum Plan.

Wondering why I got this email:

That's the entire thing.
I don't have any social media, so they can't claim it's because of political or social leanings.

Do you use paypal to accept money for selling things or services or even gifts? Do you keep a balance on paypal?

It's algorithm-based and there's almost zero recourse.

I wish more stores/sites would show your complete order history the way that Amazon does. I'm pretty sure that Amazon will list every order you've ever placed with them. Macy's is two years and I think Best Buy might be three but I wish it was infinite until the end of time.

Also, U2's With Or Without You came on the radio earlier and as the instrumental starts, I'm thinking about what an incredible voice Bono has. Anyone else think Bono is a pretty damn good singer?
I also love some John Mayer. I love Coldplay. I'd like to hear John cover some Coldplay. I don't ever want to hear John cover Tom Petty again though. Sorry Rage

The default order history for Best Buy shows 3 years, but mine goes back to 2015, with the actual receipt. Try clicking on the pull down menu in the upper right corner next to "Viewing"

Yes, I do.
I think his voice is another instrument in the awesome music they create.

Now I’m gonna listen to some U2, hahaha!

haha Yeah...of course there are so many wonderful singers out there. Some have range that just amaze you and some are kind of one key maybe? but they do it well. Bono seems like he can find some pretty good range. I think Billy Joel has some great range. I had never heard the term falsetto until reading about Coldplay and Chris Martin but I LOVE his voice. I'd also like to hear them cover some John Mayer.

But when it comes to covers, and there are so many that I haven't heard yet, but I'd have to say one of the absolute best is Guns N' Roses cover of Knockin On Heaven's Door. Just beautiful. And one more thought. Nah, two more thoughts. I might have mentioned this before but I think Yellow Ledbetter from Pearl Jam is one of the most beautiful rock songs. His amazing voice and then the guitar work.
And last, I was listening to a song on the way to work. For me, it's one of the definitive southern rock songs. Again, so many songs I haven't heard but I'd say it might be my favorite southern rock song along with Lynyrd Skynyrd's Tuesday's Gone.

The Joshua Tree was a great album. I remember being a little kid and stealing mom and dad's cassette tape. Haven't listened to it in years. May need to do some reminiscing this weekend as who knows what the next few weeks will bring. Saw Coldplay in Atlanta July 2nd 2012 and its still one of the best live shows I have ever saw. Not my favorite kind of music. However, I do have a soft side Took an ex to see them. It was a Christmas gift from the previous year. No longer together but we are still friends!

If you can't review a film in one paragraph, you shouldn't be reviewing films anymore. The attention spans of people are so short today. People aren't interested in reading 5+ paragraph reviews anymore.

You know it is possible to do both, right? Make up your own mind and also be interested in what other people thought..
